Head up display apparatus
A head up display apparatus includes: an image display apparatus having a light source and a display element and forming an image; an image-light projecting means displaying a virtual image onto a forward part of a vehicle by projecting the image light emitted from the image display apparatus to be reflected on a windshield 3; and a point-of-view detecting system 6 sensing a point of view of the driver. In the head up display apparatus, the image-light projecting means includes a means generating illumination light entirely made of single-color visible light emitted to a face of the driver in a predetermined state of the vehicle.
Systems and methods for regulating control of a vehicle infotainment system
One or more embodiments include systems and methods for regulating control of a vehicle infotainment system. In one embodiment, a vehicle computing system includes a user interface which has one or more output components and one or more input components. Software executing in memory of the vehicle computing system may be programmed with rules to reduce driver distraction such as preventing inputs or outputs during vehicle operation. Inputs may be intercepted from the one or more input components of the user interface. Additionally or alternatively, outputs may be intercepted to the output components of the user interface. The intercepted inputs or intercepted outputs may be evaluated for one or more violations based on the rules. If the one or more violations are detected, the inputs or outputs may be prevented during vehicle operation.
Method for operating a user terminal of an agricultural machine and agricultural machine
The present disclosure refers to a method for operating a user terminal (7) of an agricultural machine, comprising providing a user terminal (7) in a control system (3) of an agricultural machine, the user terminal (7) connected to a power supply and configured to transmit, through a control bus (6), control signals to functional elements (10a; 10b) of the agricultural machine; enabling operation of the user terminal (7), after a period of time the user terminal was turned-off before, comprising enabling a user control mode of operation of the user terminal (7); running software applications in the user terminal (7); enabling a display device of the user terminal (7); and enabling the control bus (6), thereby, operating the control bus (6) in a bus control mode allowing for transmission of the control signals through the control bus (6); controlling operation of one of the functional elements (10a; 10b) of the agricultural machine in the user control mode of operation; in response to a user input, generating present control signals; transmitting the present control signals to the control unit assigned to the one of the functional elements (10a; 10b) through the control bus (6); and operating the functional elements (10a; 10b) according to the present control signals; disabling the user control mode of operation and enabling a standby mode of operation for the user terminal (7), comprising continuing with running one or all of the software applications in the user terminal (7); disabling the display device of the user terminal (7); and disabling the control bus (6); and re-enabling the control mode of operation for the user terminal (7). Further, an agricultural machine is provided.
BUTTON STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE AV SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME
The button structure including a front panel configured to define a body and having a mounting hole formed in a front surface of the front panel directed toward an interior of an occupant compartment, a button unit accommodated in the mounting hole and configured to selectively control various types of AV systems of a vehicle, a detection unit accommodated in the front panel and configured to detect a user's hand, a switch unit configured to operate various types of AV systems of the vehicle under the control of the button unit, and a lighting unit accommodated in a housing and configured to emit light to the button unit in response to a detection signal of the detection unit, in which the detection unit is disposed rearward of the button unit and positioned from the button unit in a direction opposite to the direction toward the interior of the occupant compartment.
LIGHT CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD
A light control apparatus includes a diffuser plate, a light source, a light pipe, and a light blocker. The diffuser plate includes at least one opening therein. The diffuser plate includes feature located around the opening in the diffuser plate that exposes a portion of the diffuser plate. A light source positioned proximate a second surface of the diffuser plate is optically coupled to a light pipe positioned around a portion of the opening near the second surface of diffuser plate. A light blocker is positioned near a second portion of the at least one feature. The light blocker is positioned between the light source and the second portion of the feature, the light blocker having an opening therein to allow light to pass from the light source to the diffuser plate proximate the second portion of the feature.
INFORMATION PROVISION SYSTEM
An information provision system mounted on a vehicle includes: a visual device configured to visually provide information to an occupant of the vehicle; and a controller configured to control the visual device. The controller is further configured to: cause the visual device to provide first information in a first period; cause the visual device to provide second information different from the first information in a second period later than the first period; and set at least one of a luminance and a saturation of the visual device in at least a part of an information switching period between the first period and the the second period to be lower than that in the first period and the second period.
Method and apparatus for vehicular light fixtures
A lighting device is provided for controlling the photometric distribution of light emitted by two or more LEDs. The lighting device may be integrated with a control system of the vehicle and may be controlled by a remote controller. The lighting device may be capable of being operated in one or more modes of operation based on operating conditions, user input, or both. Operating conditions may include vehicle conditions, environmental conditions, and user conditions. The controller may operate a software application to enable the user to modify, control, or otherwise regulate any mode of operation or other feature of the lighting system.
DISPLAY DEVICE, VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE AND VEHICLE
According to one embodiment, a display device includes a display panel configured to modulate a first polarization component, a first viewing angle control panel including a first liquid crystal layer containing twisted liquid crystal molecules, a second viewing angle control panel including a second liquid crystal layer containing twisted liquid crystal molecules, and a polarization axis rotation element provided between the first viewing angle control panel and the display panel.
