Image-Recording Device Issuing Notification Concerning Quantity of Liquid in Tank
In an image-recording device, a cartridge has a first chamber and an outlet. A mount body includes a tank, first and second sensors. The tank has an inlet, and a second chamber. The liquid in the first chamber flows into the second chamber via the outlet and the inlet. The first sensor outputs a first signal when a level of the liquid in the second chamber is higher than a first position, and outputs a second signal when the level is lower than the first position. The second sensor outputs a third signal when the level is higher than a second position higher than the first position, and outputs the fourth signal when the level is lower than the second position. A controller controls a notification device to issue a notification if a condition based on the first and second signals is satisfied.
Liquid absorber and image forming apparatus
A liquid absorber includes a container that has an opening and that recovers liquid and a first absorbing unit that is constituted by an aggregate of porous absorbing body blocks and that is housed in the container such that a gap exists between the porous absorbing body blocks. The porous absorbing body blocks have a density of 0.05 [g/cm.sup.3] or more and 0.50 [g/cm.sup.3] or less.
Image-recording device having tank, and first and second sensors for detecting liquid in the tank
In an image-recording device, a cartridge has a first chamber, an outlet, and a first air communication portion for air-communication between the first chamber and the atmosphere. A mount body includes a tank, and first and second sensors. The tank has an inlet, a second chamber, and a second air communication portion for air-communication between the second chamber and the atmosphere. Liquid in the first chamber flows into the second chamber. The first sensor outputs a first signal when a level of the liquid in the second chamber is higher than a first position, and outputs a second signal when the level is lower than the first position. The second sensor outputs a third signal when the level is higher than a second position which is higher than both the first position and the inlet, and outputs a fourth signal when the level is lower than the second position.
LIQUID CONTAINER AND LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
There is provided a liquid container including: a pouch and a case. The pouch includes a flexible bag and a spout with a first opening. The case includes a tank to store a liquid flowed through the second opening. The spout is fitted into the case, and the bag is positioned in the tank.
Recording device
A printer includes a recording unit, a platen unit, a maintenance tank, and a guide unit. The recording unit ejects ink onto a medium. The platen unit includes a support surface that supports the medium and a discard portion in which waste ink is discarded. The maintenance tank recovers the waste ink. The guide unit has a receiving surface, and guides the waste ink to the maintenance tank. Second surface energy is larger than first surface energy when the first surface energy indicates surface energy at a first position on the receiving surface with respect to the waste ink and the second surface energy indicates surface energy at a second position closer to the maintenance tank than the first position.
Fluid delivery system and method
Disclosed herein is a fluid supply system that can provide fluid to a jetting assembly at a constant pressure or at pressures within a desired range of pressures. In an example, the fluid can be ink, and the jetting assembly can be a print head configured for dispensing the ink.
LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
A liquid discharge apparatus includes an apparatus body, a liquid discharge head in the apparatus body, the liquid discharge head configured to discharge a liquid, and a waste liquid tube coupled to a coupling portion of the apparatus body, the waste liquid tube having flexibility and including a spiral structure portion at least in a part of the waste liquid tube, the waste liquid tube configured to discharge, outside the apparatus body, a waste liquid discharged from the liquid discharge head.
Inkjet Recording Device
An object of the present invention is to reduce the amount of solvent vapor floating around when a print head is cleaned in an inkjet recording device. In addition, an object is to reduce ink stains on a periphery of the print head. An inkjet recording device includes a main body portion and a print head. The main body portion includes an ink container that contains ink, and a solvent container that contains a solvent. The print head includes a nozzle connected to the ink container to discharge the pressurized and supplied ink, a charging electrode that charges ink particles discharged from the nozzle, a deflection electrode that deflects the ink particles charged by the charging electrode, and a gutter that collects the ink. In addition, a head mounting unit for cleaning the print head is provided. The head mounting unit is connected to a solvent vapor suction path for suctioning solvent vapor generated therearound.
SPITTOON CARTRIDGE FOR A PRINTING DEVICE
Disclosed herein is a spittoon cartridge for a printing device, a printing device and a method of controlling a spittoon cartridge. The spittoon cartridge comprises a waste tank to store material ejected from a print head; a transfer unit to transfer material ejected from the print head into the waste tank; and a floater movably arranged in the spittoon cartridge, wherein a position of the floater depends on a filling level of the waste tank and wherein the floater impedes transfer of material by the transfer unit if the floater reaches a predefined warning position.
Image-recording device issuing notification concerning quantity of liquid in tank
In an image-recording device, a cartridge has a first chamber and a outlet.
