THIN WOVEN FABRIC HAVING SUPERIOR COMFORT
Provided is a fabric for use as sportswear, the side fabric of a futon or the inner bag thereof that has superior heat retention and a soft texture despite being lightweight and thin. The fabric is a thin fabric having a fabric density of 15 g/m.sup.2 to 50 g/m.sup.2 in which thermoplastic synthetic fibers having fineness of 5 dtex to 30 dtex are arranged in at least a portion of the warp yarn or weft yarn, wherein the average deviation of the coefficient of friction on at least one side of the fabric is 0.008 to 0.05, and the value of Qmax of that one side of the fabric is 85 W/m.sup.2.Math.° C. to 125 W/m.sup.2.Math.° C.
ADHESIVE TEXTILE
Textile with an adhesive effect containing at least one stitch-forming adhesive thread. The adhesive thread has a component that imparts an adhesive effect at least at a surface thereof.
Self-wrappable ePTFE textile sleeve and method of construction thereof
A self-wrapping textile sleeve that is abrasion, arc and water resistant and method of construction thereof is provided. The sleeve includes a wall having opposite edges extending in a lengthwise direction along a central longitudinal axis of the sleeve between opposite ends. The opposite edges overlap one another to form an inner tubular cavity. The wall has warp yarns extending in the lengthwise direction generally parallel to the central longitudinal axis and weft yarns extending generally transversely to the longitudinal axis between the opposite edges. The warp and weft yarns include expanded PTFE yarns, and the weft yarns further include heat-settable thermoplastic yarns. The heat-settable polymeric yarns impart a bias on the wall to bring the opposite edges into their overlapping relation.
Adhesive textile
Textile with an adhesive effect containing at least one stitch-forming adhesive thread. The adhesive thread has a component that imparts an adhesive effect at least at a surface thereof.
WOVEN GARMENT WITH GRIP YARNS
A woven panel is provided that utilizes grip yarns in the weft direction in a first area to increase the coefficient of friction of the woven panel. The grip yarns are interlaced with a plurality of non-grip yarns to form a repeating pattern of floats on the woven panel, that when sewn into a garment, provide additional traction and friction for securing the garment to a wearer's body.
Innerduct structure containing monofilament jacketed woven rope
An article containing an innerduct structure and a woven rope located within the innerduct structure. The woven rope an inner portion comprising a plurality of multifilament fibers in the length direction of the woven rope and a jacket portion covering the inner portion. The jacket portion contains a plurality of monofilament fibers in the length direction of the woven rope and at least one multifilament fiber in the circumferential direction interwoven with the monofilament fibers in the length direction of the jacket portion. The monofilament fibers of the jacket portion form the majority of the outer surface of the woven rope.
ANTISLIP SHEET MATERIAL WITH TWISTED TAPES
A sheet of material suitable for roofing or industrial wrapping applications has an anti-skid surface formed by ridges of twisted tapes. The sheet comprises a woven scrim of warp tapes and weft tapes. Some of the tapes are twisted about their longitudinal axis, for example about (25) to (400) revolutions per meter, to form ridges having a height substantially greater than the thickness of the tapes. The ridges impart an anti-skid surface to the sheet. The scrim is bonded to a coating or film to make the sheet waterproof.
SLIDING FABRIC
A sliding fabric exhibits a small amount of compression in the thickness direction under load application, does not cause generation of play between members, and is superior in sliding properties and durability. The sliding fabric is configured such that fluororesin fibers (X) and other fibers (Y) are alternately arranged as warps and/or wefts on at least one side of the fabric and the amount of compression of the fabric is 25 m or less.
FIBER AND WADDING
Provided is a fiber having superior bulkiness despite being a synthetic fiber, and wadding. The fiber contains inorganic particles having an average particle diameter of 1 m to 20 m within the fiber and fiber pores having a maximum width of 0.1 m to 5 m and maximum length of 1 m to 50 m are formed in fiber cross-sections in the axial direction of the fiber. The wadding contains a fiber A, and the content of fiber A in the wadding (100% by weight) is 50% by weight to 100% by weight, down power is 270 cm.sup.3/g to 400 cm.sup.3/g, and the fiber A contains inorganic particles having an average particle diameter of 1 m to 20 m within the fiber.
Sailcloth With Fail-Safe Properties
A sailcloth including a woven fabric of a first fiber material and a second fiber material woven into it, in which the second fiber material forms a network structure within the woven fabric, with the second fiber material having a higher tearing resistance than the first fiber material and with the second fiber having a sliding ability within the woven fabric.
