Determining a computer's position and system for manufacturing a tag
A method for accurately positioning a computer position, and identifying a specific rack position where the computer is without manual intervention. A camera is installed on the computer to read the contents of a tag on the rack, so as to identify the position information of the computer. Specifically, the computer is provided with a self-positioning function, wherein: a camera is installed on the computer, and the camera is configured to read the contents of a tag attached on a side of a rack to house the computer to identify the rack position where the computer is.

The present invention is configured to electronically retrieve one or more documents from a document repository, wherein the one or more documents are in an image format; initiate one or more image super resolution algorithms on the one or more documents; generate, based on at least the one or more image super resolution algorithms, one or more high-resolution images associated with each of the one or more documents; initiate one or more image bottleneck ensembles (IBE) algorithms on the one or more high-resolution images; extract, using the one or more IBE algorithms, one or more features associated with the one or more high resolution images; and store the one or more features extracted from the one or more high resolution images in a feature repository.
Method and circuit for fingerprint detection
A method and circuit for fingerprint detection perform a first round of edge detection with a first parameter, and if a first value obtained during the first round of edge detection does not satisfy a predetermined threshold, perform a second round of edge detection with a second parameter, so as to allow a fingerprint that is not acceptable for the first parameter to be accepted for fingerprint recognition. If a second value obtained during the second round of edge detection does not satisfy the predetermined threshold neither, it is determined that the object subject to fingerprint detection is not a finger.
System and method of analyzing a curved surface
A method of analyzing a curved surface is provided. The method includes obtaining a first data point set including data points representative of a distance between points along the curved surface and a reference axis, determining outlier data points in the first data point set, extracting the outlier data points from the first data point set, thereby defining a second data point set. The method also includes determining a fitted curve for the second data point set, wherein the fitted curve defines an approximate true curve of the curved surface.
Method and device for generation of a representation of a digital image
A method and device for real-time generation of a multiresolution representation of a digital image for real-time generation are disclosed. A sequence of main representations of the digital image is stored at successive different main resolutions in a main memory. A part of a current main representation is loaded from the main memory into a local memory via a bus. A current main representation is processed by determining a corresponding part of an intermediate representation of the image having an intermediate resolution lying between the resolution of the current main representation and the resolution of the subsequent main representation. The loading and processing steps are repeated for other parts of the current main representation until all parts of the current main representation have been successively loaded and processed.
Track power supply system
A track power supply system (1) that extends and provides power to various electronic devices or components in a display areas of a retail setting wherein 110 volt hardwired electrical components would be difficult and/or uneconomical to install. Components may include lights, LEDs, USB ports and so forth as well as various supplies for powering the track. Each component attaches via a pressure fit into channels of the track.
