Closed Case Cart

An enclosed medical case cart includes a left-side panel, a back panel, and a right-side panel supported on a chassis. A top panel is supported on the left and right-side panels and the back panel. A door including a transparent panel is coupled to either the left or right-side panel by a hinge. A plurality of freely-swiveling caster wheels are coupled to the chassis. A first status indicator assembly including a plurality of flags movable between a first position and a second position is coupled to the top panel. A second status indicatory assembly having an indicator disc movable between a first position and a second position is coupled to an interior surface of the door. A fifth-wheel assembly having a non-swiveling wheel movable between a first position and a second position is coupled to the chassis.

An embodiment of a cart for food service has a folding frame and/or removable shelves. Optionally, the frame includes sidewalls pivotally attached to opposite sides of a back. An optional wheeled base may be pivotally attached to a bottom of the back. In some embodiments, removable shelves are supported by the side walls, for example, sliding between walls on parallel tracks. Optionally the number of shelve can be changed in accordance to the depth and/or number of dishes carried. The cart has stable, locked, unfolded configuration on four wheels and approximately the width of a man. The frame optionally folds into a flat shape that is supported on two wheels and/or the shelve are held to the frame, for example in a pocket. Optionally the shelves and/or walls are made of aluminum and/or the wheels and/or base are made of stainless steel.

Security bin

A security bin formed from a commercially available rectangular plastic bin having removable lids that are secured to the bin to prevent unauthorized access to the items placed therein. The lids are locked with a tamperproof flap and latching hook to prevent access to the bin contents. Plexiglass windows allow viewing of materials placed within the bin. Spring pins allow ease of lid movement for access to the bin contents, or allow removal of the windows to allow stacking for storage and shipping. An optional scanner can be mounted to one of the lids for recording and tracking of storage media placed within the bin.
