A pallet truck wheel guard assembly is configured for use on a pallet truck of a type having a spaced pair of rear steer wheels rotatable about an axle residing and steerable within a horizontal plane relative to said pallet truck. The wheel guard assembly comprises a shroud having a width approximately equal to or larger than a spacing between rear steer wheels of a pallet truck. One or more connectors are configured to fixedly attach the shroud only to an axle between the steer wheels of the pallet truck, wherein the shroud is fixed relative to the steer wheels such that a spacing between a bottom edge of shroud and a floor level upon which the steer wheels rest is sufficiently narrow so as to prevent extremities from slipping beneath the shroud and be caught under the pallet jack wheels.

A pallet truck wheel guard assembly is configured for use on a pallet truck of a type having a spaced pair of rear steer wheels rotatable about an axle residing and steerable within a horizontal plane relative to said pallet truck. The wheel guard assembly comprises a shroud having a width approximately equal to or larger than a spacing between rear steer wheels of a pallet truck. A load wheel assembly for a pallet truck includes a first load arm that rotates about an axis of rotation, and a load wheel rotationally coupled to an end of the first load arm opposite from the axis of rotation. The load wheel supports a fork at an elevation above the load wheel. Additionally, the load wheel assembly includes a second load arm pivotally coupled to the first load arm at the axis of rotation and forming a load arm angle, and an adjustment mechanism further coupling the second load arm to the first load arm. The adjustment mechanism varies the load arm angle formed between the first load arm and the second load arm to adjust the elevation of the fork above the load wheel.

A load wheel assembly for a pallet truck includes a first load arm that rotates about an axis of rotation, and a load wheel rotationally coupled to an end of the first load arm opposite from the axis of rotation. The load wheel supports a fork at an elevation above the load wheel. Additionally, the load wheel assembly includes a second load arm pivotally coupled to the first load arm at the axis of rotation and forming a load arm angle, and an adjustment mechanism further coupling the second load arm to the first load arm. The adjustment mechanism varies the load arm angle formed between the first load arm and the second load arm to adjust the elevation of the fork above the load wheel.

The object carrier for carrying objects is provided, wherein the engaging portions of the shelf member are engaged with the engaged portions of the frame member from top to bottom in the vertical direction to constitute the engagement state between the shelf member and the frame member, the connection line between the engaged portions constitutes an engagement direction, and the shelf member moves in an engagement releasing direction perpendicular to the engagement direction on a horizontal plane to release the engagement state with the frame member. The lift for removing objects from the object carrier is provided, wherein the bearing portion moves in the vertical direction through the lifting portion and bears the shelf member on which the object is placed under the object carrier, and the bearing portion moves in the horizontal direction through the sliding portion, so as to remove the shelf member and the object altogether.

A pallet jack includes a base and a pair of tines extending from the base. The pair of tines including a first tine and a second tine. A load wheel supports an outer end of each of the pair of tines. Each load wheel is configured to move toward and away from the respective tine to raise the tine off a floor on which the load wheel is supported. The first tine including a support surface configured to selectively be a lowermost surface of the tine to facilitate lateral displacement of the first tine.

A pallet jack includes a base and a pair of tines extending from the base. The pair of tines including a first tine and a second tine. A load wheel supports an outer end of each of the pair of tines. Each load wheel is configured to move toward and away from the respective tine to raise the tine off a floor on which the load wheel is supported. The first tine including a support surface configured to selectively be a lowermost surface of the tine to facilitate lateral displacement of the first tine.

A device for moving an article between a first position and a second position, the device comprising: a support portion for supporting an article; one or more wheels; and at least one actuator mechanism coupled to the support portion and the one or more wheels. The at least one actuator mechanism is configured to move the support portion between a first position and a second position, wherein the first position is offset from the second position such that the support portion is raised relative to the one or more wheels when moved from the first position to the second position to allow at least a portion of the one or more wheels to protrude beyond a plane defined by the support portion.

A load wheel assembly for an elongate fork of a forked material-handling vehicle with a chassis employs a non-motorized forward load wheel, a non-motorized rear load wheel, and a non-motorized torque-coupling assembly connected between the forward load wheel and the rear load wheel for coupling torque between the forward load wheel and the rear load wheel to overcome obstacles on a surface, such as a floor.
