MOBILE BODY AND TERMINAL CASE TO BE ATTACHED TO THE SAME
According to an embodiment, a mobile body acquires product information given to a product to be purchased and transports the product to be purchased. The mobile body includes a cart body, an acquisition device, and a holder. The cart body is moved to transport the product. The acquisition device acquires the product information. The holder detachably holds the acquisition device.
RESOLVING EVENTS IN ITEM-IDENTIFYING CARTS
This disclosure is directed to item-identifying carts that may be utilized by users to automatically identify items that the users place in their carts. In addition, these carts may automatically determine the outcome of respective events that occur with respect to these identified items. For example, the carts may be configured to identify one or more items that are placed into or removed from the cart, and thereafter determine one or more actions taken with respect to the identified items and a quantity of the items involved. For example, after identifying a first item and a second item either placed into or removed from the cart, the cart may determine that the user added two instances of the first item and removed one instance of the second item. In response to making this determination, the cart may update a virtual cart of a user operating the physical cart.
Electronic Device Enclosure and Mount for Shopping Carts
An electronic device enclosure for retail shopping carts is disclosed having a cart mounting bracket attached to the side of a shopping cart near the front handle cross bar that does not interfere with the nesting of the cart as it was designed. An enclosure comprising a housing for an electronic device such as a tablet computer has a mounting bracket being incorporated into the rear of the housing and further having a mounting arm containing secured locking means to securely seat into the cart mounting bracket. The apparatus further contains means of transmitting via NFC to a CPU or to one of several networked CPU beacons docking confirmation and location data. The cart mount bracket is designed to withstand prolonged outdoor weather conditions without malfunctioning.
SHOPPING CART
The invention relates to a push handle unit of a shopping cart having at least one first and one second end piece, wherein a free-standing gripping unit which rises upward is arranged on at least one end piece, the gripping unit being designed as an object holder for receiving at least one beverage container and/or a scanner and/or a magnifier for enlarging text on a package and/or a handle cap and/or a smart phone.
PERSONAL SHOPPING CART AND METHOD OF USE
A shopping cart basket comprises one or more modular baskets couplable to a bottom basket having a plurality of wheels extending downwardly to allow the shopping cart basket to roll. Each of the modular baskets has a foldable bottom wall that can act as a bottom of a separate basket or can be folded against a side wall of the modular basket. The modular baskets could be used to hold items within a smaller compartment, and can be combined with the bottom basket to form a roll-able shopping cart having a larger compartment. Such a cart is advantageously used in a store, such as a grocery store, a retail shopping mall, or a home improvement store.
Shopping cart and system
A shopping cart and method of autonomous shopping are provided including a cart chassis, a scale configured to rest on base of the chassis, a basket resting on the scale, wherein weights of products placed in the basket are indicated by the output signal of the scale, a weight guard rail positioned above the product basket and attached to the cart chassis, a user identification unit, a payment module, and a motion sensor.
INTERACTIVE SHOPPING SYSTEM AND METHOD
An interactive shopping system, or smart cart. The system allows a user to select items in a store and complete a purchase without having to wait in lines or interact with store personnel. The system can have a container for holding products selected by at least one user, a user interface, a scanner in communication with the user interface, a processor in communication with the user interface, and a data storage comprising computer instructions executable by the processor. A user can select products, place them within the container, scan the products, and initiate a payment transaction to complete a purchase.
INTELLIGENT INTERACTIVE MODULE AND TROLLEY
Disclosed is an intelligent interactive module, which is applicable to a trolley (10) comprising a stand (300) and a handle (400). The intelligent interactive module comprises a printing unit (510), a main body (520), a touch screen (530), a reading unit (540), and a control unit (550), wherein the printing unit (510) is disposed on the stand (300), the main body (520) is disposed on the stand (300) and adjacent to the handle (400), the touch screen (530) is disposed on the main body (520), the reading unit (540) is disposed in the main body (520), and the control unit (550) is disposed in the main body (520) and is electrically connected to the printing unit (510), the touch screen (530), and the reading unit (540). When the reading unit scans identification information of goods, the control unit receives a first signal from the reading unit, and controls the touch screen to display printed information corresponding to the goods; and when the touch screen receives an input instruction from a user, the control unit receives a second signal from the touch screen, and controls the printing unit to print goods information corresponding to the goods. In addition, the disclosure further discloses a trolley comprising the intelligent interactive module.
Holder and system for mounting and supporting a smart device on a shopping cart
A holder for mounting to a shopping cart and supporting a smart device includes a receptacle for receiving a smart device and at least one fastener for securing the receptacle to a handle of the shopping cart. The receptacle includes a planar surface having a front face, a back face, and a sidewall that extends perpendicularly away from the front face and along each side and bottom of the planar surface. The planar surface also defines a channel for receiving an accessory associated with a smart device. The length and width of the receptacle are sized to permit the upper portion of a smart device to extend out of the receptacle and to configure the manner in which the smart device is received by the receptacle. The holder can be installed on a shopping cart to provide system for holding a smart device.
