The disclosure provides a baby carriage brake mechanism and a baby carriage. The baby carriage brake mechanism includes a frame, a brake drive assembly, linkage assemblies, brake locks and wheels. The brake drive assembly is disposed on the frame. The linkage assemblies are respectively slidably disposed on the frame on both of left and right sides. Both ends of the brake drive assembly are respectively in abutting connection with the two linkage assemblies. The linkage assemblies are coupled to the brake locks. Two wheels are respectively pivotally disposed at both sides of the frame. By driving the brake drive assembly to push the linkage assemblies to act with the brake locks, the brake locks on both sides are engaged with the wheels, thereby locking the wheels on both sides. Therefore, the baby carriage brake mechanism of the disclosure may brake wheels on both sides simultaneously with simple operation.

Locking device for wheels of a baby carriage

A locking device has two locking mechanisms, a connecting mechanism, and a pedal. Each locking mechanism has a wheel base, a cap, a recoil device, and a locking assembly. The wheel base has a mounting hole having multiple guiding ribs. The recoil device has a recoil member and a recoil spring. The locking assembly is mounted in the wheel base and has a pushing rod, a pushed rod, and a pushing spring. The pushing rod has a ratcheted end. The pushed rod is selectively engaged with and disengaged from the guiding ribs and has a ratcheted end selectively engaged with and disengaged from the ratcheted end of the pushing rod. The pedal is mounted securely on the cap of one of the two locking mechanisms that is defined as a driving locking mechanism.

Braking system for a stroller

A stroller including a pair of wheels and a cross bar extending therebetween. A pedal is coupled to the cross bar, and is transitional relative thereto between locked and unlocked configurations. A pair of braking pins is operatively coupled to the pedal. Each braking pin is transitional relative to a corresponding wheel between locked and unlocked configurations. Each braking pin is engaged with the corresponding wheel when the braking pin is in the locked configuration, and each braking pin is disengaged with the corresponding wheel when in the unlocked configuration. The braking pins are coupled to the pedal such that movement of the pedal from the unlocked configuration to the locked configuration causes the braking pins to transition to their respective locked configurations, and movement of the pedal from the locked configuration to the unlocked configuration causes the braking pins to transition to their respective unlocked configurations.

Stroller frame

A stroller frame has a body, two front wheel assemblies, a seat supporting mechanism, and a rear wheel folding mechanism. The two front wheel assemblies are respectively and pivotally disposed on the body. The seat supporting mechanism is moveably disposed below a seat plate of the body. The rear wheel folding mechanism is disposed on a rear side of the body and has two rear wheel assemblies and two linkage assemblies. The two rear wheel assemblies are moveably disposed on a first transverse rod of the body. The two linkage assemblies are respectively disposed on two ends of a second transverse rod of the body. When the stroller frame is folded, two rear wheels of the two rear wheel assemblies move between two front wheels of the two front wheel assemblies to decrease the overall width and volume of the folded stroller frame.

Wheel locking mechanism

A wheel locking mechanism, suitable for locking a wheel of a pushchair, the mechanism comprising: a rotatable member, adapted to be mounted on the hub of a wheel, whereby the rotatable member is co-rotatable with, and by rotation of, the wheel, the rotatable member comprising a locking surface, and a non-rotatable member, comprising a locking pin adapted to selectively cooperate with the locking surface of the rotatable member, whereby the relative positions of the rotatable and non-rotatable members are lockable. Also disclosed is a pushchair comprising a chassis having a rear axle, at each end of which a wheel is mountable, wherein each end of the rear axle is provided with such a wheel locking mechanism.
