A golf flagstick assembly includes a ferrule, a first flagstick portion, a second flagstick portion and a connector fitting. The first flagstick portion has a first cross-sectional dimension. The second flagstick portion is separate from the first flagstick portion and has a second cross-sectional dimension. The second flagstick portion is oriented such that an end of the second flagstick portion is disposed toward an end of the first flagstick portion. The connector fitting extends between and operatively connect the first and second flagstick portions. The connector fitting has a fitting cross-sectional dimension that is less than the first cross-sectional dimension of the first flagstick portion and less than the second cross-sectional dimension of the second flagstick portion. POSITIONING SYSTEM AND POSITIONING METHOD
A positioning system includes a golf ball and a mobile terminal. The golf ball includes a battery and a transmitter configured to operate with electric power supplied from the battery and transmit a radio signal to outside of the golf ball. The mobile terminal includes a receiver configured to receive the radio signal from the golf ball and a processor configured to measure the position of the mobile terminal, and to measure the position of the golf ball based on the strength of the radio signal received by the receiver at two or more points at which the measured position of the mobile terminal differs.
POWER-ASSISTED GROUND HOLE CUTTER
A ground hole cutter is presented. The ground hold cutter includes a mechanical actuator, a housing shaft, and an arm housed within the housing shaft and coupled to the mechanical actuator. The arm is configured to extend and retract relative to the housing shaft. The ground hole cutter further includes a cylindrical cutter coupled to the arm and configured to engage a ground surface. In addition, the ground hole cutter includes a power supply and a controller. The controller is coupled to the power supply, and configured to control extension and retraction of the arm by actuating the mechanical actuator such that the extension and retraction of the arm engages the cutting component to cut a hole in the ground surface.

This present disclosure relates to an accessory for use during a round of golf. More particularly, the instant invention is an integrated mounting system in which a ball marker can be mounted on a golf club so that it is readily and easily available when needed, but such that the presence of the ball marker on the golf club will not interfere with the golfer's performance or that of the golf club. In one embodiment, the ball marker is mounted to the grip of the golf club via a magnetic attachment means. In other embodiments, the attachment means may be mechanical in nature, or that of a friction or interference fit.
