Cover device for a side sill of a passenger vehicle
A cover device for a side sill of a passenger vehicle has a sill cover which includes first and second cover elements which are arranged in a length region of the side sill below a door opening and are coupled moveably to one another and a drive unit via which the cover elements are jointly displaceable between a first functional position and a second functional position. The first cover element is pivotable about a first axis and the second cover element is displaceable about a second axis. The second cover element is mounted so as to pivot about the second axis by a bearing device on the first cover element. The displacement movement of the second cover element relative to the first cover element is positively controlled by a slotted link.
Vehicle carpet systems and methods of installing same
A method and a vehicle carpeting system includes a floor pan that includes a forward end, an opposing aft end, a first lateral side, a second lateral side, and a floor pan body extending therebetween. An A-pillar is formed along the first lateral side and the second lateral side of the floor pan, a B-pillar is formed along the first lateral side and the second lateral side of the floor pan aft of the A-pillar. A ductway extends along the first lateral side from the A-pillar past the B-pillar. The vehicle carpeting system also includes a carpet structure at least partially covering the floor pan and extending from the first lateral side to the second lateral side. The vehicle carpeting system further includes a door seal that includes a lip that extends over a lateral side of the carpet structure.
Structural Component
Structural component, in particular for a vehicle body, comprising a structural element (12) and a sensor arrangement (16), wherein the sensor arrangement (16) is connected to the structural element (12) and comprises at least one optical waveguide (14).
SKID PLATE WITH RECOVERY POINT
A skid plate for a vehicle may include a continuous unitary plate of material including: a plurality of mounting points configured for mounting the continuous unitary plate to an undercarriage of a vehicle; and a recovery opening proximate an outer edge of the continuous unitary plate and configured to receive a device for recovering a vehicle.
Vehicle body rear structure
A vehicle body rear structure includes: a cross member and a curvature portion each formed by a part of a floor panel, the part projecting downward at a rearward portion (spare tire pan) of the floor panel, wherein the cross member and the curvature portion each constitute a projected portion; and an underbody coating applied to the projected portions and having a first step and a second step which are oriented perpendicular to a front-rear direction.
Vehicle body lower structure
A vehicle body lower structure includes: an undercover having an opening and a first fixing portion disposed around the opening; a cover member having a second fixing portion and detachably attached to the undercover to close the opening; and a fixing member configured to detachably attach the second fixing portion to the first fixing portion, the fixing member being fixed to the first fixing portion and the second fixing portion from a lower side of the undercover. The undercover includes a general portion and the first fixing portion, and at least the general portion and the first fixing portion are made of a board member having a constant thickness. The second fixing portion of the cover member is thicker than the board member. The second fixing portion of the cover member is located over an upper surface of the undercover.
Fibrous vehicle underbody shield
A fibrous vehicle underbody shield and method for manufacturing the same is provided. A binderless core of non-woven fibrous material defines first and second surfaces of the fibrous vehicle underbody shield. The second surface of the fibrous vehicle underbody is opposite the first surface such that the first and second surfaces are separated by a final product thickness. The first and second surfaces include at least one molded contour that gives the first and second surfaces a non-planar shape. The non-woven fibrous material of the binderless core includes a plurality of fibers that are mechanically entangled with each other and have a coating that withstands a heat exposure of 200 degrees Celsius. The fibrous vehicle underbody shield includes a latex impregnation. The latex impregnation is disposed on at least one of the first and second surfaces and penetrates the non-woven fibrous material of the binderless core an impregnation distance.
Accumulator arrangement
An accumulator arrangement for a motor vehicle may include an accumulator housing, at least one transverse beam, and at least one battery module. The accumulator housing may include a first housing part and a second housing part, and may define a receiving space. The at least one transverse beam may be arranged on the accumulator housing and divide the receiving space at least partially into a first region and a second region. The at least one battery module may be arranged at least one of in the first region and in the second region. In a region of a connection site between the first housing part and the second housing part, the at least one transverse beam may include a positioning arrangement configured to provide a simplified and guided connecting of the first housing part with the second housing part.
Rocker member and vehicle
A side sill member includes a hollow member and a reinforcing member. The hollow member includes therein mutually facing first surface and second surface. The reinforcing member stands on the first surface or the second surface inside the hollow member. The reinforcing member is a tubular component having a polygonal cross section. A longest side of the polygonal cross section has a groove extending along an axial direction of the tubular component.
Vehicle cover member
A tray-like vehicle cover member has a flat bottom plate, an edge wall rising from a peripheral edge of the bottom plate, and a flange that is connected to an upper end portion of the edge wall and provided with a plurality of fastening portions to be fastened to a vehicle. In this vehicle cover member, the bottom plate has an annular groove formed in an intermediate portion between the peripheral edge and the center, and a plurality of radial grooves formed to extend radially from the annular groove toward the fastening portions.
