Body structure for an electrically operated vehicle
A body structure for an electrically operated vehicle, having an installation space for a traction battery, which space is open toward the vehicle bottom in the vertical vehicle direction, is delimited toward the vehicle top by a floor pan part that forms the vehicle floor, and is delimited on both sides in the transverse vehicle direction by a rocker panel that delimits a side-door opening toward the vehicle bottom, wherein a front body longitudinal member that transitions into the respective rocker panel toward the rear of the vehicle in the longitudinal vehicle direction extends on each vehicle side in the front-end region, and wherein the relevant front corner of the traction battery is enclosed by an interior corner region, in particular right-angled interior corner region, that stretches between the rocker panel and the front battery cross member.
Vehicle Center Pillar Structure
An embodiment center pillar structure for a vehicle includes a center pillar including a lower connection portion, a side sill including an intermediate connection portion to which the lower connection portion of the center pillar is joined, a pillar reinforcement joined to an inboard surface of the center pillar, and a side sill reinforcement joined to an inboard surface of the side sill, wherein the pillar reinforcement and the side sill reinforcement are joined to the intermediate connection portion of the side sill.
ROOF SIDERAIL AND VEHICLE
In a vehicle, a roof siderail outer includes an upper flange, a first portion that is disposed across a gap from a roof siderail inner, and a second portion disposed between the first portion and the upper flange. A boundary line between the upper flange and the second portion is configured of a first bent portion that is bent to form a valley crease line on an outer face of the roof siderail outer. A boundary line between the second portion and the first portion is configured of a second bent portion that is bent to form a ridge crease line on the outer face. The second bent portion extends toward the first bent portion in a rearward direction, and is connected to the first bent portion. The upper flange is welded to a rear pillar.
Vehicle body structure
A vehicle body structure that includes a rear floor side member that extends along a vehicle front-rear direction at a vehicle width direction end portion of a vehicle rear section and that is divided into front and rear portions in the vehicle front-rear direction. The rear floor side member includes a joint section that is provided between a vehicle width direction inner side of a rocker rear, which is provided along the vehicle front-rear direction at a vehicle front-rear direction rear side of a rocker extending along the vehicle front-rear direction at a vehicle side section, and a vehicle front-rear direction front end of an attachment portion of a rear suspension member in vehicle side view, and that joins together a rear floor side member front portion and a rear floor side member rear portion.
Formed body, structural member, and method for producing formed body
A formed body 1 includes a first flange 3, a body portion 100 (a first vertical wall portion 4, a top plate portion 5, a second vertical wall portion 6), and a second flange 7, and the formed body 1 is made of steel having tensile strength of 440 MPa or more. The first flange 3 extends toward the second flange 7 from an edge portion of the first vertical wall portion 4. The first flange 3 and the body portion 100 curve so as to conform to each other as viewed from the direction orthogonal to the top plate portion 5.
Vehicle body structure
There is provided a vehicle body structure, including: a die-cast rear floor side member; and a rocker rear inner; a joint section including: an upright wall configuring an inner side, in the vehicle width direction, of the rocker rear inner and extending along the vehicle vertical direction and the vehicle front-rear direction, and an outer joint section that is formed at the vehicle front-rear direction front end portion of the rear floor side member, that has an open cross-section profile, when sectioned along the vehicle vertical direction and the vehicle width direction, that is open toward an outer side in the vehicle width direction, that covers the rocker rear inner from the vehicle width direction inner side and that is joined to the rocker rear inner in a state in which a gap is provided between the outer joint section and the upright wall.
Rear side body structure of vehicle
The rear side body structure includes: a side sill outer panel forming a lower part of a side surface of a vehicle body, extending along a front-to-rear longitudinal direction of a vehicle, and including a bonding surface part on a rear end part thereof; a quarter inner panel connected to the side sill outer panel and forming a rear side surface of the vehicle body located at a rear of a rear door; and a first reinforcing member coupled to the side sill outer panel and to the quarter inner panel, and configured to cover a coupling portion between the side sill outer panel and the quarter inner panel, wherein the bonding surface part protrudes rearward and is bonded to a surface of the quarter inner panel.
Vehicle body
A vehicle body includes a rear pillar, a roof siderail, and a side inner panel. The rear pillar is disposed to a side of a rear hatch, and extends in an up-down direction. The roof siderail extends in a vehicle body front-rear direction at a side of a roof, and a rear end thereof is linked to the rear pillar. The side inner panel is linked to the rear pillar and the roof siderail. The roof siderail has a tubular shape, and bulges further into a vehicle cabin than an upper end of the side inner panel.
