Universal anchor points for mobile robots
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for universal anchor points for mobile robots. In one embodiment, an example mobile robot may include a chassis, a removable assembly comprising a support member, and a first anchor point coupled to the chassis. The first anchor point may be configured to anchor the support member to the chassis. The first anchor point may be configured to be coupled to support members of different diameters or widths.
STORAGE SYSTEM WITH PARTITION MEANS AND METHODS
A storage system is described where goods are stored in containers and the containers are stored in stacks. Above the stacks runs a grid network of tracks on which load handling devices run. The load handling devices take containers from the stacks and deposit then at alternative locations in the stacks or deposit then at stations where goods may be picked out. The framework may be provided with one or more of the following services: power, power control, heating, lighting, cooling, sensing, and data logging. A method of partitioning the storage system prevents the spread of fire or prevent damage caused by sprinkler activation.
System and method for configuration of buildings or storage
A modular building system or storage system can include a number of stacks of container, each stack being positioned within a frame structure having uprights and a horizontal grid disposed above the stacks. The grid can include substantially perpendicular rails on which load handling devices can run. Containers having functions associated with a number of residential or commercial uses are moved in to and out of the stacks by the robotic handling devices running on the grid. The containers disposed in the stacks are selected by function on demand by a user, the building being reconfigurable to take into account required uses.
Robotic container handling device and handling method
A system and method for handling shipping containers is described. The container handling system comprises a crane, the crane comprising crane load handling devices. The container handling system further comprises conveyance means, the conveyance means further comprising transversal load handling devices. The system further comprises storage and sortation means for storing the containers in a series of stacks disposed beneath a grid, the grid comprising a series of load handling devices operable thereon. The crane load handling device removes a container from a ship, transports it to transversal load handling means operable on a conveyor. The container is moved on the conveyor to a transfer point where it is collected by a robotic load handling device for transport to the storage and sortation area.
Utility vehicle tray system
A utility tray system including a coaming member located on each of two opposing sides of a tray body, each coaming member having at least one longitudinally extending channel, the channel having a longitudinally extending channel opening in communication with a longitudinally extending channel body, the channel body being wider in cross-section than the channel opening; wherein the channel body is adapted to receive a fastener which has a portion that is larger in cross sectional area than the channel opening, thereby preventing the fastener from being withdrawn from the channel opening; further wherein the fastener can be selectively secured to the coaming member at a selected longitudinal position.
Truck-mountable cargo rack
A truck rack, including rack components and rack accessories, to support cargo over a bed of a truck, and methods of constructing, assembling, mounting, adjusting, and using the truck rack. An illustrative truck rack comprises a tower and a base. The tower may have a foot and an upper end portion. The upper end portion may be configured to support a crossbar. The base may be configured to mount the tower on an upper wall region of a truck bed. The base may include a deck on which to support the foot and at least one securing device to secure the foot on the deck. In some examples, the at least one securing device may include a clamp configured to engage opposite edge regions of the foot. In some examples, the clamp may be configured to urge the opposite edge regions downward toward the deck.
Tailgate hinge clip
A disclosed tailgate hinge clip is mountable within a gap between a tailgate and a cargo bed and provides a surface for engaging a seal. The disclosed tailgate hinge clip includes a main body portion including a seal surface and a clip portion extending from the main body portion.
Stackable transport frame
Examples provide a method and apparatus for transporting equipment using a stackable transport frame. A set of adjustable brackets are removably attached to a portion of the stackable transport frame. The set of adjustable brackets are oriented in a downward and vertical configuration which is perpendicular to the transport frame to removably secure the stackable transport frame to a trailer. A set of parallel frame members define a wheel securing aperture to accommodate one or more wheels on the equipment being transported. A support member on the transported equipment sits within a longitudinal channel. A set of stacking brackets are configured to support a set of stackable transport frames in a vertical stacked configuration during storage.
Hinged and Sectioned Drop-In Flatbed Side Rails
A disclosed flatbed truck side rail and stake pocket system includes side rail sections for each lateral side of the flatbed, wherein each side rail comprises at least one hinge attached at a first hinge plate wherein the side rails together span each lateral side of the flatbed. Also, stake stubs are each attached to a second hinge plate of each at least one hinge and are configured drop-in receivable into a stake pocket in the flatbed. Additionally, a stake in a lateral side of the flatbed supports the siderails via a spring loaded pin inserted through the stake and into at least one side rail. Furthermore, a flatbed comprising a traverse pocket underneath the flatbed and behind a rear license plate is disclosed. The traverse pocket comprises rails configured to receive at least one loading ramp and latch it therein.
FALL PROTECTION SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR USING SAME
Disclosed herein is a modular safety rail and system for a flatbed platform, comprising first and second end post assemblies defining first and second ends of the safety rail; at least one intermediate post, each intermediate post comprising a first cable holder and a second cable holder; a cable configured to connect with the first end post assembly and the second end post assembly and configured to be removably positioned within and pass through the first cable holder and second cable holder of each intermediate post; and a cable winch connected to a first end of the cable and configured to spool and unspool the cable. Also disclosed herein are kits and methods for using the disclosed safety rail and system.
