A replacement tailgate for the purpose of elongating the pick up truck may be installed on a truck bed wherein the replacement tailgate can be unfolded in order to elongate a length of the truck bed. The replacement tailgate may have front and rear shells that are used to support objects placed in the truck bed as well as act as the new tailgate when the truck bed length is elongated. Various panels may be unfolded in order to trap objects within the truck bed when the replacement tailgate is unfolded in order to elongate the truck bed length.

A cargo bed for a utility vehicle includes a bottom plate, and a pair of right and left side walls extending upward from right and left ends of the bottom plate. The side walls each include a front pillar extending vertically at a front end, a rear pillar extending vertically at a rear end, a side panel extending between the front pillar and the rear pillar in an anteroposterior direction and having a rib extending in the anteroposterior direction, and a bed rail positioned above the side panel with a space being provided therebetween, and extending between the front pillar and the rear pillar in the anteroposterior direction.

A cargo bed for a utility vehicle includes a bottom plate, and a pair of right and left side walls extending upward from right and left ends of the bottom plate. The side walls each include a front pillar extending vertically at a front end, a rear pillar extending vertically at a rear end, a side panel extending between the front pillar and the rear pillar in an anteroposterior direction and having a rib extending in the anteroposterior direction, and a bed rail positioned above the side panel with a space being provided therebetween, and extending between the front pillar and the rear pillar in the anteroposterior direction.

A modular trailer system comprising a plurality of curved panels, where each panel is elongate and has a first side with an angled projection and an opposing second side with an angled slot such that the angled projection of one panel is capable of fitting into the angled slot of another panel, allowing the panels to join together to form a continuously curved surface. The modular trailer system may further comprise a first top rail with an angled slot capable of receiving the angled projection of one of the plurality of curved panels and a second top rail with an angled projection capable of fitting into the angled slot of another of the plurality of curved panels. The plurality of curved panels, first top rail, and second top rail may be assembled together to form an elongate trailer body with a partially circular cross section, such that the trailer body has a continually rounded bottom and sides and an open top.

A filler pipe bracket of an aluminum pickup truck includes a two-tiered body, a first side member, and a second side member. The two-tiered body includes a first layer defining a first pipe aperture and a second layer defining a second pipe aperture. The first side member extends from the first layer and includes a first mount flange oriented for securing to a portion of an inner pickup box frame. The second side member extends from the second layer and includes a second mount flange for fastening to another portion of the inner pickup box frame. The first pipe aperture may be sized to receive a diesel fuel pipe and the second pipe aperture may be sized to receive a diesel exhaust fluid pipe.

A cargo box for a pickup truck includes a bed and a pair of sidewalls connected to opposing longitudinal sides of the bed. Each of the sidewalls has an inner panel and an outer panel. The outer panel has a wall portion, a lower portion, and an upper portion connected to the inner panel to join the inner and outer panels together. At least one brace is disposed in one of the sidewalls and includes a first flange connected to the upper portion, a second flange connected to the lower portion, and a third flange connected to an interior surface of the wall portion.

A cargo box for a pickup truck includes a bed and a pair of sidewalls connected to opposing longitudinal sides of the bed. Each of the sidewalls has an inner panel and an outer panel. The outer panel has a wall portion, a lower portion, and an upper portion connected to the inner panel to join the inner and outer panels together. At least one brace is disposed in one of the sidewalls and includes a first flange connected to the upper portion, a second flange connected to the lower portion, and a third flange connected to an interior surface of the wall portion.

A method for producing a door element comprising a planar panel (30) and protruding edges (32a, 32b, 32c), each edge (32a, 32b, 32c) being joined to at least one adjacent edge (32a, 32b, 32c) by a joining edge, comprising:—providing a rectangular planar blank,—cutting out said blank to retrieve a corner part being adapted to form a joining edge (34),—stamping the cut-out blank to obtain a door element part (52) comprising the panel (30) and the edges (32a, 32b, 32c), said edges (32a, 32b, 32c) being separated one from the others,—joining the adjacent edges (32a, 32b, 32c) by attaching a joining part (54) to the door element part, said joining part (54) being made of a material different from the material of the door element part (52) and forming a joining edge.

An easily attachable and removable self-contained slide in storage, safety and warning light chassis assembly for use by the traffic control industry and others is described. The chassis assembly includes a bed portion that is built to slide into a pickup truck bed. Associated removable jacks can be used to raise and support the chassis while a truck is backed up under it, or where the jacks include castors, the assembly is rolled into the truck. Additionally, a safety platform portion is included on the rear portion of the chassis assembly, so that when installed it is disposed behind the bed of the truck for use in the placement and pickup of traffic control devises. The chassis assembly can be mounted securely to the factory hitch of truck as well as additional locations in the bed.

A tonneau cover assembly located over the cargo bed of a truck is provided. The tonneau cover assembly includes a base panel that extends over the cargo bed of the truck. The tonneau cover also includes at least one cover section that selectively shrouds the cargo bed and is located adjacent the base panel. The tonneau cover assembly includes either one or both a tie-down block assembly and/or a tether assembly.
