Cab suspension for a tiltable cab of a commercial vehicle
The present disclosure relates to a cab suspension for a tiltable cab of a commercial vehicle, preferably a front cab-suspension. The cab suspension includes two brackets for mounting on a frame construction of the commercial vehicle in a manner fixed to the frame, a vibration construction for damping movements of the cab while the commercial vehicle is travelling, wherein the vibration construction has two lateral bearing portions and a cross-element connecting the bearing portions, and a torsion-bar construction for tilting the cab. The cab suspension is particularly notable in that the brackets have a ramp structure along which the vibration construction may be guided backwards and upwards in the event of a frontal collision and/or the vibration construction and the torsion-bar construction are functionally separate from one another.
Longitudinal Member for a Heavy Goods Vehicle
A longitudinal member is provided. The longitudinal member includes a front end provided with a hinge element for attaching the longitudinal member in an articulated manner to a heavy goods vehicle body, and a rear end including an attachment element for attaching the longitudinal member in a non-permanent manner to the heavy goods vehicle body. The longitudinal member includes a front part extending from the front end to an intermediate area of the longitudinal member and a rear part extending from the intermediate area to the rear end of the longitudinal member. The product (P.sub.F) of the wall thickness (t.sub.F) of the front part by the yield strength (Ys.sub.F) of the material of the front part is greater than the product (P.sub.R) of the wall thickness (t.sub.R) of the rear part by the yield strength (Ys.sub.R) of the material of the rear part.
Vehicle
A vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle may include a base portion and a modular portion. The base portion may be a four wheel vehicle having an operator area with seating for at least two occupants in a side-by-side arrangement. The modular portion may be coupled to the base portion resulting in a six wheel vehicle. The wheels of the modular portion may be powered by an engine of the base portion.

Working vehicle
A working vehicle is provided with a traveling vehicle, a working section which is supported on a rotatable base, an operator's cab, and a connection section. The connection section includes: a connection section body which connects the rotatable base and the operator's cab and which is provided so as to be capable of pivoting about a base-side connection section connected to the rotatable base and about the operator's cab-side connection section connected to the operator's cab; and a pivot control section which extends so as to always intersect the connection section body in the range of pivoting of the connection section body, connects the rotatable base and the operator's cab, and is provided so as to be capable of pivoting about a base-side connection section connected to the rotatable base and about an operator's cab-side connection section connected to the operator's cab.
Adjustable bunk and vehicle equipped with the same
An adjustable bunk is adapted for trucks or other vehicles equipped with a sleeping compartment. The bunk has a front end and a foot extremity and includes at least a first segment, pivotally connected to a second segment, by a supple connection, wherein the first segment may be in a horizontal position or in a non-horizontal position, while the second segment remains in a horizontal position. The first segment of the bunk is suspendable on an upper support placed above the bunk.
