Longitudinal member for a heavy goods vehicle
A longitudinal member is provided. The longitudinal member includes a front end provided with a hinge element for attaching the longitudinal member in an articulated manner to a heavy goods vehicle body, and a rear end including an attachment element for attaching the longitudinal member in a non-permanent manner to the heavy goods vehicle body. The longitudinal member includes a front part extending from the front end to an intermediate area of the longitudinal member and a rear part extending from the intermediate area to the rear end of the longitudinal member. The product (P.sub.F) of the wall thickness (t.sub.F) of the front part by the yield strength (Ys.sub.F) of the material of the front part is greater than the product (P.sub.R) of the wall thickness (t.sub.R) of the rear part by the yield strength (Ys.sub.R) of the material of the rear part.
Motorized vehicle with elevating cabin for transportation of people or goods
A motorized vehicle (V) for transportation of people or goods generally comprising frame means (T) for supporting a housing cabin (C) for the said people or goods and suitable to be elevated by means of lifting means (S, M) of the said cabin (C) for moving the said cabin (C) between a loading/unloading position (PT) of said people at ground level and a loading/unloading position (PEA) of said people at an elevated level; the said lifting means (S, M) comprise column means (M) defined by cylindrical movement means (7) inserted into each other and suitable to slide through dynamic actuating means (8, 9) arranged coupled to the said movement means (7); said column means (M) supporting wheel means (12) for moving the said vehicle and suspension means (13) connected to the said wheel means (12).
Synchronous steering vehicle body
A synchronous steering vehicle body includes wheels, a cab and a steering mechanism for driving the wheels and the cab to synchronously steer, steering center axes of the wheels are vertical to rotation center axes of the wheels, and the wheels are vertical to the center of the horizontal ground to be concentric to the steering center axes of the wheels, and the steering motions of the wheels and the cab are kept synchronous. The disclosure provides a synchronous steering vehicle body capable of directly achieving the synchronous steering of the wheels and the cab.
STEERING DEVICE
A steering device exhibiting improved layout properties around a steering shaft. A steering device installed in a vehicle, the vehicle compartment of which is capable of tilting, has: a first steering shaft, one end of which is connected to a steering wheel; a second steering shaft positioned below the first steering shaft and in a manner such that the one end thereof connected to the other end of the first steering shaft is located above the floor section of the vehicle compartment; and a coaxial motor which applies a rotational force to the first steering shaft and is provided in a manner such that the output shaft thereof is coaxial with the first steering shaft. Furthermore, the second steering shaft is capable of telescoping, because a shaft and a cylindrical member are connected so as to be capable of sliding relative to one another in the axial direction.
STEERING DEVICE
A steering device exhibiting improved layout properties around a steering shaft. A steering device installed in a vehicle, the vehicle compartment of which is capable of tilting, has: a first steering shaft, one end of which is connected to a steering wheel; a second steering shaft positioned below the first steering shaft and in a manner such that the one end thereof connected to the other end of the first steering shaft is located above the floor section of the vehicle compartment; and a coaxial motor which applies a rotational force to the first steering shaft and is provided in a manner such that the output shaft thereof is coaxial with the first steering shaft. Furthermore, the second steering shaft is capable of telescoping, because a shaft and a cylindrical member are connected so as to be capable of sliding relative to one another in the axial direction.
MOVABLE OPERATOR STATION MOVEMENT LIMITING SYSTEM
A mobile machine having a machine frame with a lateral outer wall, an operator station having an outer side edge, an actuating system configured to move the operator station between a retracted position and a fully extended position that is laterally outward of the retracted position, wherein in the fully extended position, the outer side edge is a first distance outward of the lateral outer wall, a moveable component moveable between a first position and a second position, a sensor configured to send a signal indicative of the moveable component being in the first position, and a controller configured to limit the distance the operator station may move laterally outward of the retracted position to a second distance in response to receiving the signal from the sensor, wherein the second distance is less than the first distance.
FRAME ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A chassis for a vehicle includes a frame having a first end and an opposing second end. The frame includes a first frame rail defining a first channel, a second frame rail defining a second channel and that is spaced from the first frame rail, and a cross member assembly coupled to the first end of the frame and extending between the first frame rail and the second frame rail. The cross member assembly includes a first end plate positioned within and releasably received by the first channel of the first frame rail, a second end plate positioned within and releasably received by the second channel of the second frame rail, and a cross member extending between the first end plate and the second end plate.
FRAME ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A chassis for a vehicle includes a frame having a first end and an opposing second end. The frame includes a first frame rail defining a first channel, a second frame rail defining a second channel and that is spaced from the first frame rail, and a cross member assembly coupled to the first end of the frame and extending between the first frame rail and the second frame rail. The cross member assembly includes a first end plate positioned within and releasably received by the first channel of the first frame rail, a second end plate positioned within and releasably received by the second channel of the second frame rail, and a cross member extending between the first end plate and the second end plate.

MOVABLE OPERATOR STATION FOR IMPROVED VISIBILITY
An operator station is provided. The operator station may include a platform. The platform may at least partially extend along a plane. The operator station may include a first linkage member attached to a first portion of the platform and a second linkage member attached to a second portion of the platform. The first linkage member may be pivotal with respect to a first pivot axis, and the second linkage member may be pivotal with respect to a second pivot axis. The operator station may include an actuating member attached to the first linkage member. The actuating member may actuate the first linkage member for pivoting the first linkage member in a first direction and pivoting the second linkage member in the first direction. The platform may linearly translate in the plane during pivoting of the first linkage member and the second linkage member.
