Utility Vehicle Having Adaptive Drive Limiting Control
A utility vehicle such as a loader includes a drive control system that includes an electronic controller and a manually actuated drive command device, such as one or more joysticks. The electronic controller is configured to control the drive control system to supply propulsive power at a predetermined output that is lower than that which is commanded by the drive command device for so long as an output of the drive control system is beneath a designated threshold, maintaining vehicle speed lower than a commanded vehicle speed. The electronic controller is further configured to control the drive control system to ramp up the propulsive power supply toward that which is commanded by the drive command device when the output of the drive control system is above the designated threshold, causing the vehicle speed to approach a commanded vehicle speed. The vehicle may include a EH drive system such as a hydrostatic drive system.
Track and wheel for a track system, and track system comprising the same
A track for a track system has a ground-facing side and a wheel-facing side including lugs having a base and defining a wheel path on which wheels of a track engaging assembly rolls on, the wheel path having first and second track side portions, and an intermediate track portion. When the wheel supports a load smaller than a nominal load, a distance between the base and the ground-facing side is smaller than a distance between the intermediate track portion and the ground-facing side. When the wheel supports a load equal or greater than the nominal load, a distance between the base and the ground-facing side is substantially equal to or smaller than a distance between the intermediate track portion and the ground-facing side. A wheel for a track system is also described. A track system comprising a wheel and a track is also described.

A giant six-legged polar research vehicle with tracked feet, including a platform, six legs arranged at six ends of the platform and six tracked feet arranged below the six legs. A monitoring device is arranged on a top cover. Six power compartments each having a steering device are arranged at six ends of a chassis in the platform. Each leg includes a main traveling device with an upper end and a lower end respectively connected to the steering device and a tracked foot, an auxiliary traveling device with an upper end and a lower end respectively connected to the chassis and the main traveling device, and a connecting device arranged on the main traveling device. The tracked foot includes a main flipping mechanism, an auxiliary flipping mechanism, a tracked foot slewing device, a crawler, a sliding plate and a suspension.
GIANT GULLY-CROSSING VEHICLES FOR POLAR SCIENTIFIC EXPEDITION
A giant gully-crossing vehicle for polar scientific expeditions, including a gully-crossing bridge and a vehicle body. The vehicle body includes a stage and a travelling portion. The stage includes a top platform, a front bottom plate, a rear bottom plate and a multifunctional lock platform assembly. The front bottom plate and the rear bottom plate are capable of sliding independently relative to the top platform. The travelling portion includes a first travelling component, a second travelling component, a third travelling component, a fourth travelling component, a fifth travelling component and a sixth travelling component which are symmetrically provided at left and right sides of the stage and below the stage. Bridge bodies of the bridge components can be assembled to two gully-crossing bridges, and are connected to the multifunctional lock platform assembly when crossing gullies.
TRACKED VEHICLE AND CHASSIS THEREFOR
A tracked vehicle with a chassis comprising an upper frame structure connected to a lower frame structure, the lower frame structure spanning a longitudinal distance along a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, wherein over a first portion of the longitudinal distance, the lower frame structure overlaps with the upper frame structure and wherein over a second portion of the longitudinal distance, the lower frame structure does not overlap with the upper frame structure. The tracked vehicle may also comprise an operator cabin, power plant mounted to the upper frame structure and a plurality of track assemblies for traction of the tracked vehicle. Each track assembly is o mounted to the lower frame structure of the chassis and comprises a drive wheel; an end wheel; and a plurality of support wheels therebetween; and an endless track disposed around the plurality of wheels for engaging a ground on which the tracked vehicle travels.
Aircraft tug with latch and turntable
An aircraft tug apparatus for tugging an aircraft by an aircraft tire includes a turntable on a main base portion of the tug, capable of rotational movement relative to the main base portion. A tire cradle assembly on the turntable releasably holds the aircraft tire, and a latch mechanism holds the tire cradle assembly in a position that confines the aircraft tire. A pivoting arm coupled to the main base portion extends under the turntable. The pivoting arm includes a first plunger and a second plunger extending therefrom, with the first plunger coupled to the pivoting arm using a spring assembly allowing it to move up and down relative to the pivoting arm. The spring assembly is configured such that the pivoting arm may move the second plunger to engage the latch mechanism while the first plunger is impinged by the turntable.
