Each track assembly is mounted to the lower frame structure of the chassis and comprises a drive wheel; an end wheel; and a plurality of support wheels therebetween; and an endless track disposed around the plurality of wheels for engaging a ground on which the tracked vehicle travels.
Robotic cargo system
A robotic cargo system provides an ability to move cargo without requiring the use of additional material handling equipment such as forklifts and K-loaders. The robotic cargo system may operate as a vehicle during drive maneuvering, and may operate to lockdown on an aircraft as a pallet during flight. The system may navigate over rough terrain while carrying heavy loads through the use of a track-based propulsion system. The system may provide a cargo loading system, ramp ascent and descent algorithms, and autonomous navigation.
Mobile crane
A mobile crane includes: a lower traveling body including a pair of crawlers; an upper slewing body supported on the lower traveling body slewably about a slewing axis; a tiltable attachment including a boom tiltably supported on the upper slewing body; and a physical quantity detector. The lower traveling body has a reaction force receiving part for receiving a reaction force from the ground at a position away from the slewing axis in a boom direction in a state where the pair of crawlers are in contact with the ground, the boom direction coinciding with a horizontal component of a direction in which the boom extends from the upper slewing body, and the physical quantity detector detects a physical quantity which changes in accordance with a change in the reaction force received from the ground by the reaction force receiving part.
Manipulating trenching apparatus and methods
Apparatus for manipulating a longitudinally extensive member comprises a main body portion, ground contacting assemblies on which said main body portion is mounted, said ground contact assemblies being operable to convey the apparatus over a ground surface, a trench cutting device, and a mounting arm depending directly or indirectly from said main body portion and having a proximal end arranged proximate said main body portion and a distal end arranged distal from said main body portion, said distal end being operatively laterally movable with respect to the main body portion between a first limit position towards a first side of the apparatus and a second limit position towards an opposite second side of the apparatus. The mounting arm is provided with a lifting device configured to lift, and/or support assembly configured to support, said longitudinally extensive member, proximate said distal end thereof. Detection apparatus may also be provided at or near the distal end, for determining the position of said longitudinally extensive member. A corresponding de-mounting arm may be provided at a side of the main body opposite the mounting arm.
LINK AND TRACK
Problems: Provided is a link capable of effectively discharging earth and sand and a track including the same. Solutions: A link is mounted on a shoe and used in a link device. The link has a hole portion for earth removal formed by cutting out a side portion facing the shoe so as to divide an installation surface to the shoe into a plurality of parts in a rotating direction of the shoe.
ELECTRIC CRAWLER VEHICLE
An electric crawler vehicle comprising a pair of left and right traveling crawlers, each having a drive wheel, a traveling electric motor that generates traveling power to be transmitted to the pair of left and right traveling crawlers, a turning electric motor that generates turning power to be transmitted to the pair of left and right traveling crawlers, and a differential mechanism disposed in a power transmission path between the turning electric motor and each drive wheel of the pair of left and right traveling crawlers.
Track and wheel for a track system, and track system comprising the same
A track for a track system includes an endless elastomeric carcass having a wheel-facing side defining a wheel path for engaging wheels of the track system, and a ground-facing side opposite the wheel-facing side. A plurality of lugs project from the wheel-facing side. Each lug has a base and a side wall extending from the base. The base is distanced from the ground-facing side by a first distance. The wheel path has a first track side portion extending adjacent the base of at least some lugs of the plurality of lugs. The base defines an undercut extending between the side wall and the first track side portion of the wheel path. The undercut defines a recess extending inwardly towards a lateral center of the track, and has a bottom. The first distance extends between the bottom of the undercut and the ground-facing side of the track.
