Side window visor for a vehicle
A side window visor designed to attach to a vehicle window channel. The side window visor can be arranged and configured to extend over a portion of a window area for preventing inclement weather from entering the passenger cabin with the window slightly opened. A full length tab is reduced to form a plurality of tabs along the tab area of a side window visor. The plurality of tabs located on the side window visor allows the auto-up window feature to be used without causing large resistance and retraction of the window.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING VEHICLE
A method for manufacturing a vehicle in which a projected part formed on an assembly surface of one component and a recessed part formed on an assembly surface of the other component are fitted to each other so that the one component and the other component are assembled together is provided. A barb structure protruding outward and towards the root side of the projected part is formed on an outer circumferential surface of the projected part. Alternatively, a barb structure protruding inward and towards the root side of the recessed part is formed on an inner circumferential surface of the projected part and a groove into which the barb structure fits is formed on an outer circumferential surface of the projected part.
Method for mounting a front structural element of a body shell
A structural element of a body shell, which includes a firewall, two front steel fins and two steel side rails, is mounted by: a) providing a structural element made of aluminium alloy and including, a top, and an inner side edge opposite an outer side edge; b) placing the structural element adjacent to the firewall, while the outer side edge is connected together with one of the front fins and the inner side edge is connected with one of the corresponding side rails. In step a), an outer side mounting part made of steel is also provided and secured to the outer side edge.
MODULAR TRAILER
A modular trailer comprising a base frame and a side-rail assembly configured to be secured to the base frame. The side-rail assembly comprises an elongated side rail and a plurality of uprights extending from the side rail. The modular trailer further comprises a plurality of connection assemblies configured to secure the side-rail assembly to the base frame. Each connection assembly comprises an outer connection plate rigidly secured to an associated upright of the plurality of uprights and one or more fasteners configured to extend through the base frame and into engagement with the outer connection plate.
MODULAR VEHICLE STRUCTURE
A modular vehicle system includes a cabin module, front end module, and rear end module. The cabin module includes a floor structure of the vehicle and has a front end and a rear end, and a plurality of panels extending upwardly from the floor structure. The front end module is configured to include the front wheels of the vehicle. The rear end module is configured to include rear wheels of the vehicle. The front end module is configured to securely attach to the front end of the cabin module, and the rear end module is configured to securely attach to the rear end of the cabin module. Various types of modules can be constructed and assembled to define various types of vehicles. The floor structure of the cabin module may include an electric vehicle battery, and different cabin modules may have different battery types enabling different vehicle ranges.
Method for mounting vehicle elements to a motor vehicle rear end
A method for mounting vehicle elements of a motor vehicle rear end of a motor vehicle. The motor vehicle has a body on which a rear-end covering, rear lights and a trim are mounted. The mounting sequence is chosen in such a way that first of all the rear-end covering is arranged and fastened on the body, then the rear lights are arranged with orientation on the rear-end covering and then the trim is arranged with orientation on the rear-end covering and on the rear lights.
Fastening apparatus for vehicle
A fastening apparatus for a vehicle may include: a first fastening unit fixed to a first structure; a casing fixed to a second structure and arranged in a manner that faces the first fastening unit; a guide unit formed in the casing in a manner that passes therethrough; and a second fastening unit installed on the guide unit in a manner that is rotatable and enabled to ascend and descend, and fastened to or separated from the first fastening unit according to a rotational direction thereof.
Plastic composite material panel and manufacturing method thereof
An embodiment plastic composite material panel includes an outer plate portion bent in a predetermined shape and configured to be bonded to a vehicle body frame through an adhesive, and a material filling portion integrally formed with the outer plate portion, the material filling portion being thicker than the outer plate portion.
PICKUP TRUCK SIDEWALL STRUCTURAL ASSEMBLY AND STRUCTURAL SUPPORT METHOD
A structural assembly for a pickup truck sidewall includes, among other things, a C-pillar, a belt rail extending rearward from the C-pillar, and a truss spanning from the belt rail to the C-pillar. A method of structurally supporting a sidewall of a pickup truck includes the steps of securing a first end portion of a truss to a belt rail that extends rearward from a C-pillar of the pickup truck, and securing an opposite, second end portion of the truss to a C-pillar.
System and method of using data on a recreational vehicle component
A method of assembling a recreational vehicle includes providing a structural panel for installation in the recreational vehicle, which has a surface and a readable image in or internal to the structural panel, with the readable image being located at or near a location on the surface of the structural panel for installing a component at the location. The readable image has to-be-installed component information about the component to be installed at the location and is readable at the surface of the structural panel. The method further includes reading the readable image to determine the to-be-installed component information about the component that is to be installed at the location on the surface of the structural panel.
