Vehicle operation with interchangeable drive modules

Vehicles may be composed of a relatively few number of “modules” that are assembled together during a final assembly process. An example vehicle may include a body module, a first drive module coupled to a first end of the body module, and a second drive module coupled to a second end of the body module. One or both of the drive modules may include a pair of wheels, a battery, an electric drive motor, and/or a heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. One or both of the drive modules may also include a crash structure to absorb impacts. If a component of a drive module fails or is damaged, the drive module can be quickly and easily replaced with a new drive module, minimizing vehicle down time.

Retrofit for farm equipment
11679637 · 2023-06-20 ·

Systems and methods relating to the replacement of specific parts in farm equipment to thereby adjust the farm equipment's capabilities. To modify the ground clearance of farm equipment, especially sprayers with a strut type suspension, the spindles of the suspension system along with the air spring absorber are replaced. The original spindles are replaced with longer spindles while the air spring absorber is replaced with one that allows for an increased range of travel. As well, the fixed length linkage arms that connect the air height control valves to the suspension system may be replaced with longer arms. These longer linkage arms may be of a fixed length or they may be of an adjustable length. Alternatively, a replacement bracket may be used to allow for the reuse of the original linkage arm.

SYMMETRICALLY DYNAMIC EQUALIZED VOLUME AND PRESSURE AIR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

An air management system for a vehicle having a first pneumatic circuit and a second pneumatic circuit, in which the first and second pneumatic circuits are pneumatically connected in a neutral position via a cross-flow mechanism. The first pneumatic circuit is configured to independently adjust air pressure of a first side of the vehicle. The second pneumatic circuit is configured to independently adjust air pressure of a second side of the vehicle. The system is configured to establish pneumatic communication between the first and second pneumatic circuits when the air management system is not independently adjusting the adjust air pressure of the first side of the vehicle and the air pressure of the second side of the vehicle in the cross-flow mode.

Movable object

A movable object includes: a steering part including a wheel provided to rotate along a ground, a wheel rod connected to the wheel and extending in a direction away from the wheel, and a steering motor connected to the wheel rod to rotate the wheel rod and steer the wheel; and a cover part disposed on top of the steering part, and including a receiving member in which a portion of the steering part is received. When the steering motor rotates the wheel rod in one direction, the steering part is engaged with the receiving member so that the steering part and the cover part may be joined, and when the steering motor rotates the wheel rod in an opposite direction, the steering part is separated from the receiving member so that the steering part and the cover part may be disengaged.

Vehicle Lower Body

An embodiment vehicle lower body includes a front lower body and a rear lower body spaced apart from each other in a longitudinal direction, each including multiple pipes and having wheels and a suspension mounted thereto, a pair of lower body main members each having a pipe shape and spaced apart from each other in a lateral direction, the pair of lower body main members connecting upper end sides of the front lower body and the rear lower body and extending in the longitudinal direction to define upper side members of the front lower body and the rear lower body, and a pair of lower body floor members each having a pipe shape and spaced apart from each other in the lateral direction, the pair of lower body floor members connecting lower end sides of the front lower body and the rear lower body.
