Shielding Canopy Assembly
A shielding canopy assembly for a bicycle includes a pair of first rods, a plurality of second rods, and a panel, which is substantially water impermeable. The panel and each second rod are coupled to and extend between the first rods, which are arcuate, to define an arch. Each of a pair of first couplers is coupled to a front end of a respective first rod. The first couplers are configured to couple to a handlebar of a bicycle to couple the pair of first rods to the handlebar. Each of a pair of second couplers is coupled to a rear end of a respective first rod. The second couplers are configured to couple to the bicycle, behind a seat of the bicycle, so that the arch is disposed over a rider who is positioned on the seat. The panel is configured to shield the rider from the elements.
TYPE OF BICYCLE CAPABLE OF IMPROVING DRIVING SAFETY
The invention discloses a new type of bicycle capable of improving driving safety, comprising a bicycle body, assemblies of rear view mirrors are symmetrically arranged on the handlebars of the bicycle body; a brake light is arranged on the rear end of the seat of the bicycle body, turn lights are symmetrically arranged on the fixed connecting rods which connect with the frame on both sides of the seat; an illuminating light is arranged on the vertical tube of handlebar of the bicycle body, an electric horn is arranged on the upper side of the illuminating light; the application scheme is complete, simple in structure, effective in improving driving safety, and is worthy of widespread promotion.
Quick Connect And Disconnect Latch Mechanism For Mounting Accessories On Offroad Vehicles
A latching mechanism removably attaches an accessory to an offroad vehicle without requiring tools. The latching mechanism includes a body, a shaft extending through the body, and a handle riding on a conical surface of the body for rotating the shaft relative to the body. An oblong head extends on a lower side of the body, rotatable by the handle and shaft to a position where the head extends under a shoulder of a mounting recess. A spring system biases the head axially, such that the head can be moved either upwardly or downwardly from a balanced elevation set by a nut tightenable on a bolt. The mounting recess has an upper portion shaped differently from a lower portion. The body includes a hooking portion which extends significantly above the top of the mounting recess.
ELECTRIC ASSIST DEVICE FOR A BICYCLE AND BICYCLE EQUIPPED WITH SUCH A DEVICE
An electrical assistance device for a bicycle includes an electrical machine, a drive roller, an actuatable positioner, and a controller. The electrical machine includes a support arm and a rotor shaft, which carries the drive roller via a free wheel. The support arm is mounted on the bicycle by a pivot shaft, which pivots between a drive position and a separated position. The actuatable positioner releasably holds the support arm in the separated position. The controller controls operation of the electrical machine and is able to cause the electrical machine to produce a motive torque in a direction toward a wheel of the bicycle driven in forward movement. The controller also is able to deliver an electrical pulse to the electrical machine to produce a reaction torque in a direction opposite to the motive torque to cause the support arm to pivot, causing actuation of the positioner.

PAYLOAD SYSTEM FOR A BICYCLE AND OTHER OBJECTS
A payload device capable of attaching to a host-bicycle and carrying a payload-bicycle or other cargo objects includes a back-section, a base, payload-securing components, and mounting-components. The back-section includes a vertically extending structure and the base includes a horizontally extending structure, and a bottom edge of the back-section is adjacent to a back edge of the base. The base has an elongated opening shaped and dimensioned to accommodate a wheel of the payload bicycle. The payload-securing components are capable of removably attaching the wheel of the payload bicycle or other cargo objects to the back-section. The mounting components are capable of removably attaching the payload device to the host bicycle.

Apparatus for securing a backpack to a bicycle pannier
An apparatus for securing a shoulder strap of a backpack to a bicycle luggage rack includes a first capture member and a second capture member opposite and facing the first capture member with each having an elongate, linear configuration and having opposed ends. Respective ends of the capture members may be selectively coupled together with a pair of fasteners and selectively loosened or tightened such that the capture members are displaced from one another at the loosened configuration and are compressed toward one another at the tightened configuration so as to sandwich the backpack strap therebetween. An attachment portion, such as a clip, is attached to a backside of the first capture member and configured to removably attach to a bicycle luggage rack.

Modular Carrier for Bicycle, with Specialized Accessory Racks
A sporting equipment carrier for mounting onto a bicycle, the carrier being able to be customized as needed to a variety of different sporting equipment despite the wildly disparate sizes and shapes of different types of equipment for different sports. A core support which attaches to the seat post of the bicycle by means of a clamp, and has members so it projects backward away from the seat over the rear wheel of the bicycle. One or more mating arms and diverse attachment points allow the connection of equipment holders on one or more sides of the rear wheel. The holders are for different types of sporting equipment: skis, snow boards, surf boards, skates, skate boards, baskets for smaller items having apertures through the sides for long smaller items, etc. The equipment holders may be easily removed and replaced with another holder.
