A storage container assembly for connecting to a frame of a vehicle has a mounting bracket defining at least one aperture adapted to receive at least one first anchor of the vehicle therein, a storage container mounted to the mounting bracket and having a cover, the cover having an open position providing access to an interior of the storage container and a closed position preventing access to the interior of the storage container, a sliding member translatable between a retracted position and an extended position, the sliding member being adapted to engage a second anchor of the vehicle, and an actuator for translating the sliding member from the retracted position to the extended position. The actuator is disposed at least in part in the interior of the storage container and is accessible when the cover is in the open position. A vehicle having the assembly is also disclosed.

The present invention relates to a device capable of allowing both the opening and closing of a top box or a suitcase for motor vehicles, and the coupling and releasing of such top box or suitcase with respect to a support element, generally a special plate, solidly fixed to the motor vehicle. The device according to the present invention allows both manual locking and unlocking, by means of a key lock, and simultaneous lock of the buttons which respectively allow the opening and closing of the top box/suitcase and the coupling and releasing of said top box/suitcase from the support element, both the automatic remote activation, of only the opening/closing of the top box, through an electronic control unit, preferably configured, but not exclusively, with a Bluetooth communication module.

An attachment system for attaching a storage container to a vehicle includes a passive attachment device for securing the storage container to the vehicle. The passive attachment device automatically secures the storage container to the vehicle when the storage container is positioned in place on the vehicle. The attachment system also includes an active attachment device manually operable by a user to selectively lock the storage container in place on the vehicle when the storage container is secured to the vehicle via the passive attachment device. The active attachment device prevents motion of the storage container relative to the vehicle when the active attachment device is engaged so as to lock the storage container in place on the vehicle. A supporting and tilting kit for at least a bag of a motorcycle including a supporting frame adapted to be associated to a frame of said motorcycle, the supporting frame includes at least two tubular elements, a first tubular element and a second tubular element, supporting device mounted with said supporting frame and adapted to be separably engaged with said at least one bag, at least one tilting device including a supporting base mounted with said at least one bag and at least a hooked element having at least one spacer arm having a first end pivoted with said supporting base and a second end which includes a hook portion adapted to hook said first tubular element, said at least a hooked element being adapted to rotate pivoted from a disengaged position to a coupling position.

A lateral case for motorcycles provided with an improved coupling/release device for the coupling and release of the case itself to/from the vehicle frame is configured to allow the user to perform the coupling and release operations with a single and simple vertical movement of the bag with respect to the motorcycle frame, so that the coupling/release operation is simpler and more convenient for the user.

Furthermore, the coupling/release device of the lateral case is easy for the user to activate and has a high degree of security towards accidental or fraudulent openings.

A tilting vehicle includes a rear section and a carrier device which is connected to the rear section. The carrier device includes a receiving section for the releasable fastening of a luggage container and is connected by at least one first support in the region of the receiving section to the rear section and by at least one second support, which is arranged spaced apart from the at least one first support, to the rear section. The at least one first support is designed in such a manner that it does not transmit any torque.

A tilting vehicle includes a rear section and a carrier device which is connected to the rear section. The carrier device includes a receiving section for the releasable fastening of a luggage container and is connected by at least one first support in the region of the receiving section to the rear section and by at least one second support, which is arranged spaced apart from the at least one first support, to the rear section. The at least one first support is designed in such a manner that it does not transmit any torque.

A modular cargo system for an off-road vehicle includes a triangular center case between a right side case and a left side case, each having a base attached downwardly to a platform on the vehicle while also defining a floor plane for resting on a flat floor surface. The side cases include non-parallel side walls, each defining an interior space large enough to hold a rider's helmet. Each case includes a handle on a hinged lid, enabling the side case to be carried with a single hand while the lid is closed. The hinge is on a leading side wall of the cases, latched on a trailing side wall of the cases, and clips to hold the side cases downward to the platform are on the trailing side walls.
