Hockey training devices generally include a frame, and a flexible band coupled to the frame. At least one spring may be coupled to at least one longitudinal end of the flexible band. A plurality of backstop structures may be coupled to the frame to extend substantially orthogonal to a top surface of the frame. A first rebounder wing may be coupled to a first side of the frame, and a second rebounder wing may be coupled to a second side of the frame. The first and second rebounder wings may each include a respective wing structure coupled to the frame, and a respective flexible band extending between a portion of the respective wing structure and either the frame or the first flexible band. A goal shooting target can be used to develop skills in many sports. The goal shooting target can include a panel that deflects objects when the panel is placed at a face or opening of a sports goal. The panel and sports goal can define target openings through which objects are capable of passing. The panel can be configured to carry a frame of the sports goal such that posts of the sports goal are held off of a support surface upon which the goal shooting target rests.

A sports training system includes an array of break beam sensors. Each sensor is configured to detect a passage of an object, such as a hockey puck, between adjacent posts and provide information for the passage to a controller communicatively attached to the array of sensors. A mobile application is configured to receive information from the controller and provide, for presentation to a user, passage statistics for the passages completed by one or more players. Servers are located in at least one data center. The servers are configured to receive and store the passage statistics and to provide access to the passage statistics.

A sports aide for training a player to throw or kick a ball, comprising a spinning ring positionable proximal to the player and sized for passage of a ball therethrough, wherein during use of the aide the player will throw or kick the ball and attempt to have the thrown or kicked ball pass through the spinning ring.

An elbow joint device applied in goal includes: a first rotation component, a second rotation component and a junction plate. The first and second rotation components which can be inserted into the inner side of goal bar having a first and a second connection component are assembled in the junction plate. The first and second rotation components have a first and a second groove with a first and a second rotation hole passing through. The first and second rotation components pivot on the junction plate via bolts in the first and second rotation holes so that a goal can be unfold or fold by using the elbow joint device.

Apparatuses that each include at least one body and are configured to move relative to an entrance of goal to form an obstruction. The apparatuses either operate autonomously or have a remote operator and their bodies can be moved in coordination with players, pucks, balls or other object of interest. The apparatuses also each include a removably attachable actuating support. The actuating supports of each are mechanically linked to the body, removably attachable to goals, and in operable communication either a teleoperator or autonomous controller.

An elbow joint for a foldable goal post assembly, the elbow joint comprising a first elbow portion attachable to a first goal post and a second elbow portion attachable to a second goal post, the second elbow portion pivotally connectable to the first elbow portion about a hinged connection. The assembly also includes a locking rod. The first elbow portion defines a first cavity for receiving at least a portion of the locking rod and the second elbow portion defines a second cavity for receiving at least a portion of the locking rod. The elbow connector is configured such that the locking rod is slidably movable between a first configuration in which the locking rod is partially located within the first cavity and partially located within the second cavity to lock the elbow joint by preventing pivotal movement of the first and second elbow portions about the hinged connection and a second configuration in which the locking rod is pulled out of at least one of the cavities to unlock the elbow joint such that the first and second elbow portions are permitted to pivot about the hinged connection.

A cognitive/multisensory stimulation system simulates real sports action/job task scenarios for assessing, profiling, practicing, improving or rehabilitating cognitive function performance of athletes or individuals. Cognitive function improvement can be provided by: establishing with a subject a sensory semantic language for relating a number of sensory signals to corresponding possible actions, the sensory semantic language being essentially new to the subject; instructing the athlete to perform an task involving sport/job skills; providing to the subject during the task sensory signals requiring rapid discernment by the subject of the semantic meaning of the sensory signal to correctly chose one possible action; and determining whether the subject correctly responds to the selected sensory signal during the task; obtaining a cognitive-sensor reaction-time map over a visual field of the subject; and repeating the steps over multiple repeated tasks using selectively randomized sensory signals selected to progressively restore the cognitive-sensor reaction-time map a normal profile.

A retractable sport screen is described. The sport screen includes a head roll mountable to a structure and a screen couplable to the head roll tube being movable between a first position and a second position. The screen is rolled up around the head roll tube when in the first position and extended towards a ground when in the second position. The screen further includes a middle bar received in a first pocket of the screen and spaced from the head roll when the screen is in the second position, a bottom bar received in a second pocket of the screen and spaced from the middle bar in a direction away from the head roll when the screen is in the second position, the bottom bar being weighted to provide tension to the screen to inhibit a launched projectile striking the screen from contacting the structure when the screen is in the second position, and a mounting assembly for mounting the head roll to the structure.
