A computer-implemented American soccer training and evaluation method that includes subjecting a drilling user to predefined drilling protocol(s) of a plurality of American soccer drilling assemblies and obtain, from each pre-defined drilling protocol(s) of the plurality of American soccer drilling assemblies and from at least one sensor on each of the assemblies, at least one user physical characteristic of the drilling user. The user physical characteristic is communicated to an administrative server over a network, where it is stored and used to create a drilling user performance profile having individualized performance comparisons with respect to the at least one user physical characteristic of the drilling user and a performance benchmark. Then, the drilling user performance profile is communicated to at least one of a plurality of electronic computing devices of a plurality of consuming users for evaluation and review.

A target for sport goal is configured to attach to a cross member of a goal, such as a hockey goal, a soccer goal, lacrosse goal, and other such goals. The target includes a sleeve member that has an interior radius corresponding to that of the intended goal to which it is mounted. Attachment slots receive an attachment strap to secure the sleeve to the cross member. Suspension slots are disposed to receive a suspension strap that secures a target in a desired orientation relative to the length of the sleeve. The target is configured such that the target provides an audible or visual indication when the target is struck by a game object, such as a puck, a ball, or the like.

A backstop for placement around a goal to stop sport projectiles from traveling beyond the outer edge of the goal, the backstop includes a material implement having a goal acceptance aperture located substantially central to the bottom edge and extending towards the top edge. A portable sports practice net includes a frame with a base to which removable vertical poles having top side bar supports, such as T-units or L-units, are joined holds a net to create an opening, such as a goal opening. A fastener assembly for securing a string and/or netting includes a cord fastener and a cord. The cord fastener includes a clasp defining a first opening and a second opening spaced apart from the clasp. The cord is detachably coupled to the cord fastener, and includes a first end extending through the second opening, and a second end insertable into the clasp. The clasp is configured to allow the cord to be pulled through the clasp in a first direction, and to substantially prevent the cord from being pulled in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction. In some embodiments, the clasp includes a plurality of fingers that extend at an angle relative to a central axis of the second opening.

A collapsible sports goal having frame elements and connector joint assemblies that interconnect the frame elements. Each of the connector joint assemblies receives and interconnects two separate frame elements. The connector joint assemblies have a first leg and a second leg that are joined by a hinge that enables movement between a parallel configuration and a perpendicular configuration. Each first leg has a spring-loaded locking finger extending therefrom and each second leg has a finger engagement hole therein. The locking finger on the first leg engages the finger engagement hole on the second leg when the first leg and the second leg are in their perpendicular configuration.

A sports rebounding and goal apparatus for receiving a moving object, such as a ball, or puck having a base frame with elongated base members, an upper frame connected to the base frame and having elongated supports and upper frame members pivotally connected to the base frame. A first lock pivotally joins the supports and is selectively actuatable between a locked configuration to fix relative movement between the elongated supports and an unlocked configuration to allow folding movement of the supports relative to each other and relative to the first lock. Elongated cross members are pivotally connected to the upper frame and slidingly connected to base frame. A second lock pivotally connects at least one of the cross members and is selectively actuatable between a locked configuration to fix relative movement between the cross members and an unlocked position to allow drawing together of the cross members.
