A battery system for providing electric power to a boat includes a hard deck that includes a plurality of interconnected battery panels and output power connectors. Each of the battery panels includes an array of interconnected battery cells. A connection plate receives recessed edges of adjacent battery panels and interconnect cables connect battery terminals of the adjacent battery panels.

HUMAN-POWERED BOAT AND HUMAN-POWERED PROPULSION APPARATUS THEREFOR
20170305517 · 2017-10-26 ·

The present invention relates to a human-powered boat that a user can easily operate with his/her own manual power even though the boat is in a form causing large resistance to propulsion, and the human-powered boat is equipped with a propulsion apparatus that imitates the tail fin of a fish. The propulsion apparatus, in which an oscillating foil mechanism is applied to an “L-shaped oar”, enables a rider to perform forward-facing rowing and can easily change a direction and prevent damage due to a collision with an underwater obstacle. Typically, the human-powered boat of the present invention has the following three limitations in order to maximize simplicity while maintaining propulsion efficiency, compared with prior arts in the same technical field: First, a rider has a specific limitation in tilting the propulsion apparatus through an up-down movement of his/her arm. Second, the foil of the propulsion apparatus does not make contact with the longitudinal axis of the boat body in a predetermined range of motion. Third, the propulsion apparatus has a predetermined level of limitation in generating a propulsion force below the submerged portion of the boat body.

Whitewater boat strap
11667354 · 2023-06-06 ·

A boat strap is described herein, as well as a system and method of attaching two boats with the boat strap. The boat strap is made up of a main strap, a free cam, a lower cam strap, and a lower cam. The free cam is mechanically connected to the main strap, where the main strap loops through a free cam strap connector. Additional stitching connects the main strap to itself forming a free cam loop to connect the free cam to the main strap. The lower cam is mechanically connected to the lower cam strap. The lower cam strap loops through a lower cam strap connector, and a primary stitching connects the lower cam strap to itself forming a lower cam loop to connect the lower cam to the lower cam strap, wherein the primary stitching further connects the lower cam strap to the main strap. The main strap loops through a connector on one boat and runs through the lower cam to attach the boat strap to the rail. The main strap then is run through the cam on a second boat strap on the other boat, attaching the boats.

Insertable bladder system for inflatable boat repair

A thin air bag/bladder, which when packaged and attached to an air valve system is inserted into an inflatable boat, or inflatable structure to repair a puncture or leak. This valve and adapter system is used to fasten and lock the valve structure in place during use. After attachment to the air valve system, the packaged bag is inserted into the inflatable structure with a collapsible tent pole/stick through the pre-existing valve opening with newly installed adapter. A valve system and bag/bladder will be needed for each separate air chamber of the boat design, whatever the length, diameter, or number of individual chambers. This will allow a replacement bag to be user retrofitted at any later time, whenever needed to repair a puncture or leakage, in any inflatable boat, life-raft or inflatable device.

A configurable, adjustable inflatable device including one or more inflatable bladders and a shape-defining member that combines with the inflatable bladders such that an overall shape of the configurable inflatable device is at least partially controlled by the shape-defining member.

BOW STEP AND SEAT BACK FOR INFLATABLE BOATS
20170225748 · 2017-08-10 ·

This invention relates to a generally molded fiberglass apparatus that serves a multipurpose function for inflatable boats. The apparatus attaches to the bow of the boat and includes a forward passenger seat with a backrest and optionally servers to provide a step for embarking or disembarking the boat at the bow, and location for affixing one or more marine navigational or safety devices or accessories. The invention is affixed to the inner bow section of the passenger area to an inflatable tubular member craft by a permanent or semi-permanent means including, but not limited to clamps, adhesives, bolts, clips, snaps, ties, ratchets, or a combination thereof. The apparatus is shaped to conform to the topside bow curvature of the inflatable boat and to the adjacent concave curvature on the substantially vertical section within the passenger area at the bow of the inflatable boat, utilizing the craft's structure as the seated area.

Sponson attachment for airboat

A sponson attachment for an airboat allows the airboat to increase its safety and stability very quickly. A method for attaching a sponson to an airboat hull includes attaching first and second flexible tethers to a side of the sponson. The method also includes removably securing the first flexible tether to an exterior of the airboat hull adjacent a gunnel, and removably securing the second flexible tether below the first flexible tether on the exterior of the hull.

Inflatable paddle board

The present invention provides an inflatable paddle board including an inflatable paddle board body, an air pressure detection device, and an air pressure display device, where the air pressure detection device is configured to detect air pressure in an air chamber of the inflatable paddle board body and transmit detected air pressure information; and the air pressure display device is configured to receive and display the air pressure information.
