A compressed air tank for sinking prevention comprises a compressed air tank having a valve; and an air pocket coupled to the compressed air tank and being filled with air discharged from the compressed air tank when the valve is opened, wherein buoyancy is provided to a cabin that is being flooded through the air pocket to prevent a ship from foundering.

A fiberglass pontoon boat, having raised and integrated fiberglass side rails, a flat floor, and a side entry level with the flat floor. Integrated seats are molded in fiberglass. The hull and deck join together by flexing the hull to compensate for opposing draft angles of the hull and deck at the side entry. The deck has a floor and at least one other interior component, and terminates in a deck trim flange. The hull has at least two hollow pontoons and at least two side rails that extend from an outer edge of the pontoons, and the hull terminates in a hull trim flange. When assembled, the hull trim flange operatively engages beneath the deck trim flange to form a unified pontoon boat having a space between the deck and hull and wherein the side rails are integrated as structural parts of the interior component.

A foldaway balcony that includes a vertical support, a platform structure tiltably mounted to the vertical support and a barrier structure mounted on the platform structure. The platform structure includes a support structure and a floor structure which are tiltable separately from one another relative to the vertical support. The barrier structure includes barrier elements, hinged at the edge of the platform structure, and tiltable between a stowed position in which they lie inside the support structure, and a deployed position, in which they stand up relative to the support structure. A barrier element, connected to a distal side of the edge of the platform structure includes a first and a second pair of stanchions hinged to the distal side, a first and a second rod which interconnect the upper ends of the stanchions, and a handrail with parallel guides, in which are housed the first and the second rods.

A dock handrail gate includes a base plate installable on the surface of the dock and a post mounted to the base plate perpendicular to the base plate. The handrail also has a rail that attaches to the top portion of the post and extends horizontally and inclines downwardly at an angle inwardly towards the post and further attaches to the bottom portion of the post. The handrail may also have an inner tube that includes an inner sleeve to allow the post and the rail to be lifted and rotated to lock into one or more positions.

A bulwark terrace with integrated door is provided; the bulwark terrace may be a portion of a bulwark on a ship or yacht that is hinged so as to be able to fold outwards and downwards and be flush with the deck after doing so, thereby extending the deck surface. The bulwark terrace may also include a door that may open independently of the bulwark terrace to allow boarding of the yacht or ship through the bulwark without deploying the bulwark terrace.

A water mat is provided. The mat includes a first buoyant layer, a netting layer and a second buoyant layer. The netting layer may be adhered in between the upper and lower foam layers. The netting layer may include crisscrossing fibers having a first set of fibers substantially parallel relative to each other and a second set of fibers substantially parallel relative to each other. The first set of fibers crisscross with the second set of fibers, and are thereby perpendicular relative to the second set of fibers. The netting layer provides additional strength to the mat.

A foldaway balcony that includes a vertical support, a platform structure tiltably mounted to the vertical support and a barrier structure mounted on the platform structure. An outboard motor boat is provided with a hull, a deck, at least one outboard motor and a bulwark. The hull includes a rear portion. The deck is provided on the hull. The at least one outboard motor is mounted to the rear portion of the hull. The bulwark is provided on the deck. The deck includes an aft deck in the rear of the deck. The aft deck includes a first part disposed forward of the outboard motor and a second part extending rearward with respect to the first part in a fore-to-aft direction. The first part is at least partially disposed in a non-overlapping location with respect to the outboard motor and the bulwark as viewed from a side view of the outboard motor boat. The second part extends along a lateral portion of the outboard motor.

A water mat is provided. The mat includes a first buoyant layer, a netting layer and a second buoyant layer. The netting layer may be adhered in between the upper and lower foam layers. The netting layer may include crisscrossing fibers having a first set of fibers substantially parallel relative to each other and a second set of fibers substantially parallel relative to each other. Systems, devices, and methods for providing a swinging system and platform assembly that deploys a swim platform from the front of a pontoon boat which is mounted underneath the deck between the pontoons in a raised position adjacent to the underside of the pontoon deck. The platform assembly, when deployed, provides a safe method for users of pontoon boat vessels to access the front deck area from land or from a body of water. The platform deploys from two pivoting frames affixed to the bottom of the deck, which is powered by an actuator with the push of a button on the control panel. For deployment, the platform is both lowered and extended out from the pontoon boat. A powered actuator positions the platform in the deployed position for use and then retracts the platform for storage.
