Water-tight compartment with removable hatch and two-sided gel seal for multiple conduit access
A water-tight or air-tight accessible compartment has a removable hatch sealed at the edge with elastically conformable opposing seals, with elongate communication elements extending into the compartment between the opposing seals, seals conforming to the topology formed between the compartment edge and the elongate communication elements.

Boat chair configured for coversion between multiple use and storage positions, a freestanding stand for a boat chair, a combination boat chair and boat, and/or a method of use thereof
A boat chair configured such that it may be converted between several storage and/or use configurations and may be detachably affixed to and removed from a boat or placed on a boat using a free-standing stand. The boat chair may be configured such that the boat chair may be used in multiple use positions and may be transitioned into one or more storage configurations to allow for the boat chair to be more easily transported and/or stored. The boat chair may further be configured such that the use configurations may allow for customized position and/or use of the boat chair on a boat, including use of a free-standing stand for the boat chair.
FOLDING STOWABLE SEAT FOR A BOAT
In one embodiment of the invention, a folding stowable seat for use on a boat is provided that includes a compartment in which the seat is stowed when not in use; a moveable lid attached with a hinged connection to the boat, the lid covering the compartment when the seat is stowed, and a top side of the lid configured for use as a step on the boat for use by boaters, and the lid is raisable about the hinged connection to an upright position to move the seat into a use position; a seat back; a seat bottom; and a movement assembly connecting the seat bottom to the compartment, the movement assembly facilitating movement of the seat bottom from a stowed position contained entirely within the compartment to a use position wherein the seat is at least partially outside of the compartment.

FLUSH MOUNT DECK HATCH SEAL SYSTEM
A hatch seal system for a hatch opening of a water vessel deck includes a frame, a gasket assembly and a hatch cover. Particularly, the gasket assembly is disposed within the frame and includes an elongate strip of metal material, such as a strip of wire mesh, and a synthetic rubber material surrounding the elongate strip of metal material. The gasket system, along with the hatch cover, provide a watertight seal that will not dislodge from the frame under extreme weather conditions, thereby providing longevity and preventing sinking of a vessel on which the flush mount deck hatch seal system is installed.

Multidirectional Enclosure Compression Locking Mechanism
A latch system for locking of a door to a cabinet comprises a latch receiver secured to the cabinet and having first and second ramps and a rest surface. The latch system further comprises a door latch comprising a handle, a shank coupled to the handle, and a cam latch supported by the shank. In response to rotation of the handle (in either rotational directions), the shank and the cam latch rotate to cause a lock arm of the cam latch to slidably interface with the first and second ramps of the latch receiver, and to seat against the rest surface, thus placing the door latch in a locked position. The latch receiver can have a plurality of ramps, and the lock arm can have a plurality of cam surfaces, so that it can be locked from both rotational directions (i.e., multidirectional). The door latch can have a compression load adjustment mechanism.
Hatch power lift and locking system
A hatch power lift and locking system may include a hatch configured to cover an opening, the hatch being pivotable about an axis between a closed position and an open position. The assembly may also include at least one latch dog attached to the hatch, and at least one dog catch pin engaging with the at least one latch dog in the closed position. The at least one latch dog may include a latch slot for receiving the at least one dog catch pin, and a latch catch for engaging the at least one dog catch pin. The assembly may further include an actuator configured to move at least a portion of the hatch between the closed position and the open position.
