The present invention is a guide mat having guide indicia thereon for use in particular for guiding proper positioning of a person engaged in roping an animal, including heading (roping all or a portion of the head of the animal) and heeling (roping all or a portion of the rear legs of the animal). The guide may also be useful in properly positioning a participant in other sporting activities.

A sports training device for use on a ground surface includes motorized base mounted to a plurality of wheels connected with at least one motor, a power source, and a control circuit that includes at least one remote control receiver and is adapted to move the motorized base along the ground surface based on remote commands received by the remote control receiver. A support frame is mounted to the motorized base and holds height-adjustable vertical supports, and rotational and extendable lateral arms. A sporting dummy is fixed to a top end of each vertical support. A wireless remote control has a remote control circuit board, a power source, and a control interface, and is adapted to send the remote commands to the control circuit of the motorized base.

The field layouts include a layout 1 for team play, a layout 2 for individual, small group or team play, and a layout 3 for water play. A punching bag kit includes a suspension line, a target having a fastening mechanism for suspending the target from the suspension line in a manner allowing the target to move along the suspension line, and a blocker positioned on the suspension line at a configurable distance from the target. The blocker is frictionally held in place on the suspension line at the configurable distance. Movement of the target along the suspension line is restricted upon the fastening mechanism of the target impacting the blocker. The blocker is physically larger than the fastening mechanism thus impeding travel of the fastening mechanism along the suspension line past the blocker. The blocker may have holes through which the suspension line passes, and a spring-loaded friction device may be mounted on the suspension line between two holes. The suspension line may travel around a user in plurality of segments suspending one or more targets.

A gymnasium or playing field game apparatus provides one or more movable target components in the shape of a mascot mounted on swivel casters which roll on the gym floor or other playing field. Each component serves as a movable target for projectiles thrown by two teams from geometrically opposite sides. Each mascot is moved incrementally upon being impacted by a projectile to move the mascot on the gym floor until it breaks through a designated goal finish line of traffic cones protecting one team or the other.

Each of the plurality of paddles have a first end and a second end opposing the first end. The target piece may contain a top piece attached on the opposite side which the base is attached, which may contain a hollow cavity, a shot glass holder cavity, or take the shape of a target for use in target practice. The device may be used in many different applications including in recreation games, drinking games, target practice, and fighting practice.
