Systems and methods for playing enhanced disc golf
A method for playing disc golf on a course having a plurality of targets includes the steps of (a) obtaining a random selection device configured to randomly select one of a plurality of different types of throws, and one of a plurality of different types of discs, (b) the player activates the random selection device to obtain a randomly selected throw, and a randomly selected disc, and (c) the player throws the randomly selected disc with the randomly selected throw at the target. The steps are repeated for each target until the course is completed. The random selection device can be a set of dice.
System and Methods for Providing a User Key Performance Indicators for Basketball
The disclosure is directed to systems and methods for providing a user with key performance indicators of a basketball player relating to accuracy, precision and improvement. Specifically, the disclosure is directed to a system of sensors coupled to a basketball backboard adapted to provide an accurate tracking of a shot in a given three-dimensional space and extract features manipulated to yield key performance indicators based on establishing whether, how often and where the ball center passes the rim plane at a sub-cm resolution over a period of no more than 200 msec.
Basketball launching device with a camera for detecting made shots
Systems and methods for detecting made and missed basketball shots are provided. A launcher passes basketballs to shooting locations about a basketball playing area based on user input provided at an interface to define a custom practice arrangement. A camera captures images of an underside of a rim of a basketball goal. A controller receives images from the camera, associates the images with passes from the launcher, processes the images using a machine vision model to determine which of said received images indicate a made shot, and generates a performance report indicating a number or percentage of made shots for each location in the custom practice arrangement.
Vertical Board Game
A wall hanging board game having at least one removable bracket for supporting a container in connection with a vertical game board. The bracket is configured to be inserted into slots of the game board while supporting the container. With a container installed in an inserted bracket, players are challenged to toss a ball or other projectile into the container from a distance. Multiple brackets and containers may attach to a single game board. In some embodiments, brackets are resilient and held within slots of the game board with spring-back force resulting from torsion or compression of the bracket. With brackets removed, the game board doubles as a wall decoration in the living space and can be shaped or adorned with designs so as to increase the interest and appeal of the game.

Antimicrobial Basketball Net
A basketball net includes a multi-layer cord including each of an outer layer formed of a first antimicrobial, moisture wicking fiber and an inner layer including a second antimicrobial, moisture wicking fiber. The outer layer is woven from a first antimicrobial, moisture wicking yarn to form a wall that defines a central opening, and at least one cord is located within the central opening, the at least one cord formed by a second antimicrobial, moisture wicking yarn. The at least one cord includes a plurality of cords including a first cord formed by the second antimicrobial, moisture wicking yarn and a second cord including a third antimicrobial, moisture wicking yarn. The plurality of cords includes: the first cord; the second cord including the third antimicrobial, moisture wicking yarn and at least one monofiber yarn; and a third cord formed by a plurality of monofiber yarns.
BASKETBALL RIM LOCKING COVER AND VOLLEYBALL TRAINER
A basketball rim cover includes a cover plate to be placed over a basketball rim. A first locking piece extends downward. A support arm is arranged through the locking piece so that ends of the support arm are aligned with opposing points of the basketball rim. A second locking piece engages the first locking piece and is adjusted to clamp the rim between the cover plate and the support arm. A lock bar may be placed through slots in the first and second locking pieces. A fastener may be used to prevent the lock bar from being removed. In an alternate embodiment, a volleyball training aid is based on a basketball rim mounting assembly which can be mounted on a basketball rim. The volleyball training aid further includes a support frame and netting.
EQUIPMENT FOR PLAYING BASKETBALL
The invention relates to a piece of equipment for playing basketball, having a base equipped with two lateral structures forming a storage housing therebetween, and a post having a lower post section which can be stowed in a storage configuration in the housing. The post has an upper post section slidably mounted on the lower post section using an actuation system with a case fastened on a rear wall of the lower post section and an actuator mechanism for moving the upper post section which is housed in the case. The actuator mechanism has a handling socket which projects from the case. The housing is configured to receive the lower post section in the stowed configuration while preventing access to the socket.
EQUIPMENT FOR PLAYING BASKETBALL
The invention relates to a piece of equipment for playing basketball, comprising a base and a post with an upper post section carrying a board on which a basketball hoop is mounted. The post has a lower post section which is rotatably mounted on the base, the board is mounted on the upper post section through a rotational mechanism between an angular use position and an angular storage position. The rotational mechanism has a subplate for the joining together the upper end of the upper post section. The subplate has an extension linked to the board through a friction pivot, the use position of the board is delimited by the abutment of the subplate on a member secured to the board.
Convertible Recreational Floatation Board Game Device
A recreational assembly includes a body, the body defining an aperture extending through the thickness of the body from the upper surface to the lower surface, and two lumens extending within the body. The assembly also includes two or more stringers removably insertable into the lumens, respectively, and a plug removably insertable into the aperture of the body. The plug includes upper and lower plates configured to be secured within the aperture. Each of the upper and lower plates includes an anchor on one side configured to connect with an end of one of the stringers.
