Systems, devices, controllers, and methods for use in a floating production storage and offloading vessel
Embodiments relate generally to a turret system for use in an FPSO vessel. The turret system may comprise a turret body and windlass subsystem. The turret system may comprise a top and bottom surface, first and second mooring line storage sections, and first and second mooring line channel sections. Each mooring line storage section may include an opening and cavity. Each opening is operable to receive a mooring line. Each mooring line channel section may be an elongated passageway for a mooring line to pass between an exterior of the FPSO vessel and a mooring line storage section. The windlass subsystem may comprise a rotatable member, and configured to be transportable between a plurality of locations. When the windlass assembly is configured to be secured to the turret body, the windlass assembly is configurable to control a movement of a mooring line.

The turret system may comprise a top and bottom surface, first and second mooring line storage sections, and first and second mooring line channel sections. Each mooring line storage section may include an opening and cavity. Each opening is operable to receive a mooring line. Each mooring line channel section may be an elongated passageway for a mooring line to pass between an exterior of the FPSO vessel and a mooring line storage section. The windlass subsystem may comprise a rotatable member, and configured to be transportable between a plurality of locations. When the windlass assembly is configured to be secured to the turret body, the windlass assembly is configurable to control a movement of a mooring line.
SUB SEA MOORING CHAIN CONNECTOR AND TENSIONER
A mooring line length adjusting device and methods is disclosed. The connecting device is arranged for connecting a lower section and an upper section of a mooring line to respective ends of the device and for adjusting a total length of said mooring line from a previous mooring line length to a new mooring line length. The upper end of the mooring line is connected to a floating unit. At least said lower section comprises a chain segment at its top end connected to the device. The device comprises a locking arrangement to lock said chain segment to the connecting device.

Long-term mooring device
The present invention provides a long-term mooring device. A support frame is provided on a dock. The dock is provided with a free guide roller. The free guide roller is wound with a cable. An upper end of the cable is horizontally connected to a spring fixed on a lower side of a cross arm of the support frame, through a free guide roller provided on the lower side of the cross arm of the support frame (corresponding to the free guide roller on the dock). The middle of the cable penetrates through an inertial induction self-locking connection joint fixed on an end of a platform arm. The platform arm is fixed on a platform. The present invention provides an omnidirectional restoring force for the moored platform through the elastic deformation of the springs to control the movement response of the platform within a certain range.
Long-term mooring device
The present invention provides a long-term mooring device. A support frame is provided on a dock. The dock is provided with a free guide roller. The free guide roller is wound with a cable. The tail chain support is positioned to receive the tail chain of the mooring line, and includes a first chain coupler to secure a first portion of the mooring line, a second chain coupler to secure a second portion of the mooring line, and a working zone between the chain couplers for removing and reconnecting the tail chain.

System and method for connecting a mooring line to a body
The disclosed invention relates to a connecting system for connecting a mooring line to a body comprising a first part being attached to the mooring line and connected with a pin having two ends, to a second part being attached to the body and having an arrangement for guiding the pin into a hang-off structure in the second part where the hang-off structure substantially comprises at least one hook. The system is characterized by a connecting structure for a temporary pulling means mounted on the first part in transverse direction to its longitudinal axis and eccentrically to an axial center of gravity of the first part. The invention relates also to a method regarding the application of the system.
