FLOATING FLUID LOADING/OFFLOADING STRUCTURE MOORED IN A BODY OF WATER, RELATED INSTALLATION, METHOD AND PROCESS
The structure comprises a hull extending longitudinally along a longitudinal hull axis, a mooring equipment, comprising a first group of mooring lines connected to an anchor on the bottom of the body of water, the mooring lines of the first group protruding laterally beyond a first side of the hull, opposite the second side of the hull. The mooring equipment comprises a second group of mooring lines protruding laterally beyond the second side, and connected to an anchor located away from the second side on the bottom of the body of water. The mooring lines of the first group are connected on the first side of the hull, the space facing a second lateral wall of the hull being free of mooring lines.
Offshore floating structures
An offshore floating structure such as a wind turbine includes a number of improvements. The floating structure can include a chain engaging system configured to prevent any lengthwise movement of a mooring chain. The floating structure can also include a mooring fixture pivotally coupled to the hull to prevent shock loads from being transmitted directly from the mooring line to the hull. The floating structure can also include installation aid structures that provide additional water plane area and/or buoyancy to the structure. The floating structure can also have a hull that is optimized for use as an offshore wind turbine.
System and method for connecting a mooring line to a body
The disclosed invention relates to a connecting system for connecting a mooring line to a body comprising a first part being attached to the mooring line and connected with a pin having two ends, to a second part being attached to the body and having an arrangement for guiding the pin into a hang-off structure in the second part where the hang-off structure substantially comprises at least one hook. The system is characterized by a connecting structure for a temporary pulling means mounted on the first part in transverse direction to its longitudinal axis and eccentrically to an axial center of gravity of the first part. The invention relates also to a method regarding the application of the system.
MOORING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A method of mooring a floating vessel having a fairlead stopper coupled thereto is provided. The method includes retrieving a line pre-reeved on the fairlead stopper, connecting the line to an upper end of a mooring line, retrieving a second end of the line, connecting the second end to a winch of the AHV, and hauling in the mooring line to apply tension thereto Also disclosed are mooring lines and systems, including lines having tensioning connectors thereon, such as tri-plate connectors, for stretching lines.
IMPROVED MOORING/TENSIONING APPARATUS
There is disclosed an apparatus (100) for mooring a structure and/or tensioning a mooring line. The apparatus (100) comprises: a guide portion (105) for guiding a portion of a first mooring line (110), and a lock arrangement (115), wherein the apparatus (100) provides a mooring line path (120), the lock arrangement (115) being provided on an opposite side of the mooring line path (120) from the guide portion (105), at least when the lock arrangement (115) is in an unlocked configuration. When in a locked configuration at least a portion of the lock arrangement (115) is provided in the mooring path (120).
Single-upright-column mooring type wellhead production operation platform
Disclosed is a single-upright-column mooring type wellhead production operation platform, comprising an upright column body, a positioning and mounting assembly, a rotating table, an oil extraction operation platform and at least one inner well slot, wherein the upright column is of a hollow structure; the positioning and mounting assembly is arranged at a bottom of the upright column body; the rotating table is arranged outside the upright column body, is rotatable around an axis of the upright column body and comprises a mooring connection apparatus; the oil extraction operation platform is arranged on the top of the upright column body and is located above the rotating table, and the oil extraction operation platform is provided with an oil extraction operation assembly; and the inner well slot is arranged in the upright column body and can be connected to the oil extraction operation platform. The platform can adapt to an economic index of extraction of a marginal field. Disclosed are a single-upright-column wellhead production operation platform and a rotary mooring conveying system for oil-producing operation at the same time.
System and method for temporarily connecting an underwater station and a surface facility
A system for temporarily connecting an underwater station arranged on the bed of a body of water and a surface facility has an elongated conducting member with one end connected to the underwater station and one free end selectively and temporarily connectable to the surface facility; a marker buoy; and a cable connected to the free end of the elongated conducting member and to the marker buoy to quickly recover the free end of the elongated conductor element when it is necessary to connect the underwater station via the elongated conducting member to the surface facility.
METHOD FOR INSTALLING A TENSION LEG PLATFORM BASED FLOATING OBJECT
A method for installing a TLP based floating object at anchor points. The floating object includes a central body and buoyancy assemblies positioned around the central body in a horizontal plane, with each buoyancy assembly connected to the central body and connectable to one of the anchor points. The method includes: attaching a mooring leg including a mooring line at each anchor point; for each anchor point connecting a pull-down line between the buoyancy assembly and the anchor point; tensioning the pull-down lines so the floating object is lowered to an installation level below an operational level; for each anchor point connecting the mooring leg with the buoyancy assembly in slack mode; and after connecting the mooring lines with the buoyancy assemblies, paying out the pull-down lines so the floating object rises upward from the installation level to the operational level where the mooring legs are tensioned.
SINGLE-UPRIGHT-COLUMN MOORING TYPE WELLHEAD PRODCUTION OPERATION PLATFORM
