System for launching and recovering marine and submarine devices assisted by tiltable protective components
A system for launching and recovering a marine or submarine device from a support vessel. The system includes a carriage and at least one protective component. Each protective component is connected to the carriage by a pivot connection of which the axis, when the device is secured to the vessel, is parallel to the surface of the water. The at least one protective component is suitable for raising the marine or submarine device partially out of the water during recovery and for placing the marine or submarine device in the water during a launch, by rotation of the protective component(s) about the carriage.
TUBE STOW
A system and method of extracting a tube from the water by pulling the tube up a pair of elongated rails extending aft of the stern of a vessel and positioning the tube between a tube containment arm disposed above each of the elongated rails so that the tube is pressure fit therein. The pair of elongated rails can be pivoted up and out of the water for transportation and storage. The elongated rails and the tube containment arms can be telescopic.
DINGHY SUPPORT ARRANGEMENT
A support arrangement for supporting a dinghy on a carrier boat. The support arrangement has a base structure for attachment to the carrier boat and two carrying members for receiving a dinghy having two rear conical pontoon ends pointing in the same direction. The two carrying members are rotatably arranged with respect to the base structure along the longitudinal axis of the base structure such that the dinghy can be moved between a substantially horizontal orientation and an upright orientation with the conical pontoon ends received in the respective carrying member.

Multi cradle apparatus
An apparatus (1) for handling daughter boats (2) on a mother vessel comprising one davit assembly positioned atop a stationary cradle (5), each of which is located near a side edge (11a, 11b) of a deck (11) of the vessel for launching and retrieving the boats (2) from and onto the stationary cradle (5) characterised in that the apparatus has a plurality of longitudinally movable cradles (7) on the deck (11) of the vessel for securedly holding plurality of boats thereon and in that the longitudinally movable cradles can move back and forth longitudinally and lift up vertically to transfer a boat (2) onto or to receive a boat (2) from, one transversely movable cradle (4) which can transversely move back and forth for placing a boat (2) onto or for receiving a boat (2) from, the longitudinal cradles (7) and any one stationary cradle (5). The invention also relates to a method for launching and retrieving boats from a mother vessel.

System and method for launching and recovering a daughter boat from a stern of a mother ship
In a system (1) for launching, and recovering, a daughter boat (3) from a stern of a mother ship (2), there is provided a telescopic stern ramp of the mother ship. In the telescopic stern ramp, a landing frame (5) has a telescopic retracted position and a telescopic extended position. Furthermore, the landing frame is reciprocally pivotable between said telescopic extended position and a boat landing pivot position. During a boat recovering operation, the boat landing pivot position of the landing frame allows for reliable and quick fastening of the daughter boat to the mother ship. The telescopic retracted position of the landing frame allows for stowing the daughter boat in the stern area of the mother ship.
