CONTAINER TERMINAL, CONTAINER LOADING-UNLOADING METHOD AND CONTAINER COLLECTION- EVACUATION METHOD

A container terminal includes a shore working area, loading-unloading passages, a yard area and collection-evacuation passages. The shore working area is arranged on the shore, and a ship is docked at the shore. The yard area comprises a plurality of yard units. Spacing areas are formed between adjacent yard units. Each yard unit comprises at least one yard. Each yard unit is arranged with a collection-evacuation passage surrounding the yard. Loading-unloading passages are arranged in the spacing areas between adjacent yard units. The loading-unloading passages connect the yard area and the shore working area. The collection-evacuation passages are arranged in the yard units. The loading-unloading passages and the collection-evacuation passages are in a same horizontal plane but do not intersect with each other.

Floating Debris Removal Watercraft and Method
20190009867 · 2019-01-10 ·

A floating debris pickup system that includes watercraft with a forward extending landing door located at the bow that can be selectively lowered or raised by the operator. Attached to or near the upper edge of the landing door is a rigid net frame. A net is attached to the net frame. During use, the landing door is partially lowered which positions the net frame and net into the water. The watercraft then trolls in the water to pickup floating debris in the net. The net frame includes at least two upper extending posts configured to selectively engage receivers attached or formed on the upper edge of the landing door. The receivers and posts are oriented so that when the posts are attached to the receivers, the net frame is aligned perpendicular to the landing door. The watercraft includes a davit system that allows the net fame to be attached and removed from the landing door and raises the net filled with debris over trash cans located in the hull.

TWO-LEVEL PALLET FOR STACKABLE LOADING

The two stackable loading level pallet makes it possible to transport one or two stacked cars in a container or airplane pallet. Said pallet is non-motorized, capable of being folded flat, stackable, and capable of being opened out by a forklift truck. In a lower position, the top support structure of said pallet, which is framed and has a completely free central space, fits into the bottom support structure of said pallet, and the top and rear front wheel support devices of the top support structure are inserted onto or in alignment with the bottom wheel support assembly of the bottom support structure and thus form all or part of a lower rolling path that makes it possible to load a motor vehicle onto the top support structure of said pallet via the own movement thereof and without an access ramp.

A POWER SUPPLY ARRANGEMENT

A renewable power supply arrangement for use on board a sea-going vessel. The arrangement comprises at least one flexible solar panel (50) capable of being folded or rolled-up when not in use. The solar panel (50) is primarily intended for placement on the outside of a stack of containers (30) on the deck of the vessel.

GENSET CONTAINERS WITH IMPROVED SERVICE ACCESS AND VENTILATION MODULE

A container for a genset comprises a housing defining an internal volume. The housing includes a floor, a roof and a plurality of sidewalls at least one of which is movable relative to the roof and the floor between a first configuration in which the housing has a first width, and a second configuration in which the housing has a second width greater than the first width. The first width is not sufficient for a user to enter the internal volume of the housing for accessing a genset disposed within the housing, and the second width is sufficient for the user to enter the internal volume for accessing the genset. The first width can be the same as the width of an International Organization for Standardization 6346 container.

CONTAINER SHIP AND CONTAINER HANDLING METHOD

To be able to improve the flexibility in handling containers, a container ship configured to transport containers includes: an opening 106 through which cargo may be handled by moving a wheeled platform 501 between the container ship and a dock, the wheeled platform 501 including a plurality of containers 401 placed thereon; and a floor board 108 or a rail configured to support the wheeled platform 501 loaded from the dock through the opening 106.

SHALLOW DRAFT CONTAINER CARRIER
20240294237 · 2024-09-05 ·

A long, wide, and low-profile mono-hull vessel able to meet the requirements for an efficient, rapid, and reliable inland waterway container transport system. A shallow draft container carrier may comprise a self-propelled semi-monocoque mono-hull vessel having a double radius ogive bow and octet truss space frame structure. Additional features such as a forward bridge, full beam stern, and distributed electric propulsion system elements may be included. The design provides a vessel that is large, strong, ridged, and fast, able to operate in shallow water, resistant to debris accumulation, with large cargo capacity and low wind load, and potentially with zero-turn radius capability. The aspect ratio provides high capacity with high speed, low drag and fuel-efficient hull form. Integral bow and stern thrusters may provide enhanced safety, control, speed, maneuverability, and zero-turn radius capability. An electric propulsion system combined with traction motors and full beam stern layout may provide greater power while maintaining shallow draft operating capability and flexibility in cargo hold design.
