Container hopper barge with pedestal support system
A hopper barge is disclosed. The hopper barge comprises a hopper compartment for carrying a plurality of containers, the hopper compartment comprising a hopper compartment deck. The hopper barge comprises an inner-bottom portion defined in part by the hopper compartment deck and a bottom portion of the hopper barge. A plurality of longitudinal bulkheads are arranged in parallel within the inner-bottom portion of the hopper barge. A plurality of transverse bulkheads are arranged in parallel within the inner-bottom portion of the hopper barge, the plurality of transverse bulkheads running perpendicular to the plurality of longitudinal bulkheads. A plurality of pedestal supports are affixed to the hopper compartment deck, wherein at least one of the plurality of longitudinal bulkheads intersects at least one of the plurality of transverse bulkheads at a position beneath at least one of the plurality of pedestal supports.
Removable chock
A removable chock for securing coolers, storage bins, and tool boxes on boats, and cargo areas of vehicles and trailers and the like. The low-profile base mounts to any flat surface, and allows the chock to be installed and uninstalled from the base without the use of any tools. The chock can be removed from the base when not being used and the base remains installed. The low-profile design of the base greatly reduces the potential trip hazard, as well as offers an aesthetically pleasing appearance than a permanently installed chock.
Container Lashing Bridge
The invention relates to a container lashing bridge for arranging on deck of a container ship, in particular a barge for transporting containers, preferably for offshore transportation, having at least two stanchions and having at least one support, wherein lashing means for lashing at least one container can be attached to the at least one support, preferably via lashing plates which have lashing lugs and are arranged on the stanchions or on the support, characterized in that at least one load-transferring element is arranged on deck and in that the container lashing bridge is arranged at least substantially on the at least one load-transferring element.
Compensated motion base
A compensated actuator, in various embodiments, comprises a base and an electric actuator and a fluid actuator interconnected to cooperatively allow for movement of an upper deck frame to which one or more compensated actuators are connected with or without using a pivoting connector. When so connected, a predetermined set of compensated actuators are connected to the upper deck frame and a platform intermediate the upper deck frame and the platform in a predetermined pattern and linear forces from the electric actuator and fluid actuator combined to impart rotation to an output attachment point.
END FITTING AND RATCHET TURNBUCKLE
A ratchet turnbuckle for expanding or contracting the distance between tethered workpieces. The ratchet turnbuckle includes an end fitting having a pair of stabilizer bars and a swivel unit.
LASHING ELEMENT AND LASHING SYSTEM FOR LASHING CONTAINERS
The invention relates to a lashing element (10) for vertically connecting a container (100) or a stack (110) of at least two containers (100) arranged one above the other to a stop (40) on a surface, in particular on board a ship, with at least one element (24) for producing a releasable movable connection to the stop (40), with at least one element (18) for producing a detachable connection with a corner fitting (120) of the container (100), with at least one element (12) for changing a length of the lashing element (10) for adapting the length of the lashing element (10) and for tensioning the lashing element between the container corner (120) and the stop (40). It is provided that there is a pressure-resistant and tension-resistant connection between the at least one element (24) for producing a releasable movable connection with the stop (40) and the at least one element (18) for producing a releasable connection with a corner fitting (120) of the container (100).
Novel Surface-Mountable Locking Device
A surface-mountable locking device includes a body within which is disposed: (1) a box configured to receive a pin and (2) a locking mechanism having a bolt configured to engage the pin when the pin is inserted into the box. Because the locking-mechanism bolt engages the pin within the box disposed in the body, the body protects the locking-mechanism bolt from tampering, creating a more secure lock than when the bolt is exposed. An adapter for attaching a chain link (or similar link) to the locking device is also disclosed. The adapter is configured on one end as a pin to engage the box and on the other end to engage a link.
Securing Assembly, Base, and Lifting Aid
A base for a securing assembly having a lower end that secures objects to a structure, the base including, a base frame having a joining wall and at least two sidewalls extending from the joining wall to an opening for receiving the lower end in a cavity: a base pin extending between the sidewalls for attaching the base to the structure: an arm movable between an open position, wherein the arm is positioned such that the lower end is movable through the opening, and a securing position, wherein the arm inhibits movement of the lower end from the cavity.
STRUCTURE FOR USE IN LASHING A SHIPPING CONTAINER TO A SUPPORT
There is provided a pin structure for use in lashing a shipping container to a support. The pin structure has a base and a projection extending from the base. The pin structure is insertable into an internal cavity of a shipping container corner casting compliant with ISO 1161:2016 and is thereafter manipulatable so that the projection extends to an exterior of the corner casting via an aperture through a wall of the corner casting while the base remains in the internal cavity. Also disclosed is a lock device for locking together first and second shipping containers.
REMOVABLE CONTAINER SHIPPING FRAME FOR VEHICLE
The present invention provides a removable frame system for transporting vehicles in a container. The frame system is be assembled in the container, the vehicles are loaded on the frame system, the container is shipped to the location, the vehicles are unloaded from the frame system, and the frame system is disassembled and returned to the manufacture or stored for later use.
