Articles of Play for Use in the Game of Catch
Disclosed is a system for catching a ball having a frame, a fixed size through-hole of the frame, a resilient foam sheath at least partially covering the frame, a handle portion formed in an edge of the through-hole, a first end of the handle connected to the frame, a second end of the handle opposite the first end of the handle and connected to the frame, and wherein the through-hole is configured to retain the ball therein through a friction force between the resilient foam sheath and the ball.
DisClub Golf: disclub, golfdisc and discopter
The Disclub Golf is to swivel the disclub to launch the golfdisc to fly. The golfdisc has the nearly right triangle rim with straight bottom edge and triangle flap at the trail edge of the bottom edge. On the surface of rim, there are dimples to extend the flying distance of the golfdisc. There are smart phone, camera and video display, etc. embedded in the rim of golfdisc to be the head wearing discopter. The smart hat iHat headwear discopter takes off from the head of the disc golfer to search the lost golfdisc in the golf course. The wrist-wearing monitor makes the remote surveillance with discopter. The disclub has the versatile combinations of straight pole and golf-style stick to adapt the different situations of disclub golf. The extendable disclub has the pole sliding inside the tube. There are joints for the self-portrait and golf-style disclub.
Football receiving and throwing machine
A machine and method for receiving and launching an oval football. The machine includes a football catch area, a motorized belt to orient the football and motorized wheels to launch the football. The user catching the football throws it back to the machine. The machine automatically orients the football and launches it back to the user catching the football. The machine provides the user a consistent timing pause between receiving the football and launching of the football.
Extendable baseball glove ball catching device
An extendable baseball glove ball catching device, including a handle, a telescopic pole connected to the handle at a first end of the telescopic pole, and a baseball glove removably attached to a second end of the telescopic pole.
Portable arm movement exercise device utilizing centripetal and reactive centrifugal force principles
A device to strengthen a person's arm muscles through the utilization of a portable device including a handle portion and a weight component with the two components separated by a flexible rod. Such a device allows for the user to grip the handle portion and act as if they are throwing such a handle portion while the weight end moves along an arc defined through the length of the flexible rod. The resultant action is the generation of centripetal force along the defined arc with the reactive centrifugal force providing resistance to the user's arm muscles in a manner that is unique and heretofore unattainable through the utilization of a portable exercise device. The flexible rod component provides at least 10 inches (25.4 cm) of spacing between the handle portion (which may be in the form of a sphere, such as a baseball or softball, or a handle, or any other typical implement that a person may throw or swing) and the weight portion (which may be of any configuration to permit increase or decrease of the weight present thereon).

Articles of play for use in the game of catch
Disclosed herein is a game system that includes a receiving mechanism and a ball. The receiving mechanism frictionally retains the ball therein. The friction is caused by pressure that is applied on opposing points of a secant line about a surface of the ball. The frictional retention is effected by pressure applied by the receiving mechanism on at least two opposing points on the surface of the ball and the contact points of the receiving mechanism are distributed along a common secant around the ball.

Projectile launching device
A launching device comprises a shaft having a first end and a second end, a head coupled to the first end of the shaft and a handle coupled to the second end of the shaft. The head comprises a cavity and a launch ramp curved both upwardly and outwardly from the cavity, wherein a distal portion of the launch ramp extends outwardly beyond the cavity in a forward launching direction. An angle is defined by the longitudinal grip axis and the distal portion of the launch ramp to direct a projectile disposed in the cavity in the forward launching direction.
