Ladder with water sensing lights
A ladder for a boat includes a rail configured to be coupled to the boat and a rung supported by the rail. A light source is coupled to at least one of the rung and the rail. A power source provides electrical power to the light source, and a water sensor controls provision of the electrical power to the light source. The electrical power is provided to the light source and the light source is illuminated in response to the water sensor sensing water. A lighted rung for a boat ladder is also provided.
Emergency Ladder Launcher
It can be difficult for a person in the water to get onto a boat or dock. The emergency ladder launcher is a device mounted on a boat or a dock with a release mechanism that can be activated by a person in the water to deploy a ladder.
DEPLOYABLE MARINE SYSTEM
A deployable marine system for anchoring a vessel in a body of water and to enable a user to ingress into the vessel from the body of water or egress out of the vessel and into the body of water, the deployable marine system includes an anchor-ladder device and a deployment device. The anchor-ladder device includes a first member and one or more steps, the first member including a first end and a second end. The second end is opposite the first end and is associated with an anchoring component that may anchor the vessel. One or more steps may be attached to the first member. The deployment device may be attached to the vessel, connected to the first member in proximity to the first end, and may deploy the anchor-ladder device into, or retract the anchor-ladder device from, the body of water.
Enhanced strength spreader step for use with rope ladders
This invention relates to a spreader step for a rope ladder comprising a metal scaffold having three types of overlapping elements. There are two parallel elongate elements, two U-shaped elements, the ends of which are inserted into the ends of the parallel elongate elements, and four strengthening elements that are disposed over the other two types of elements at the site of overlap.
Bulwark terrace with integrated door
A bulwark terrace with integrated door is provided; the bulwark terrace may be a portion of a bulwark on a ship or yacht that is hinged so as to be able to fold outwards and downwards and be flush with the deck after doing so, thereby extending the deck surface. The bulwark terrace may also include a door that may open independently of the bulwark terrace to allow boarding of the yacht or ship through the bulwark without deploying the bulwark terrace.
Stern platform arrangement and marine vessel
The invention relates to a platform arrangement (110) mounted to a stern portion of a marine vessel (100). The platform arrangement comprises at least one first platform section (111) with a first transverse pivot joint (113) mounted adjacent a transom (105); at least one propulsion unit (101) mounted to a lower surface of the first platform section (111), wherein the at least one propulsion unit (101) and its first platform section (111) are tiltable between a drive position and an upwards tilted position. A second platform section (112) is located in front of the at least one first platform section (111), which second platform section (112) has a second transverse pivot joint (114) mounted adjoining the first transverse pivot joint (113) of a corresponding first platform section (111). The first and second platform sections (112) are foldable relative to each other about their respective first and second pivot joints (113; 114). The invention further relates to a vessel comprising the platform arrangement.
Retractable boat extension
A retractable boat extension. The retractable boat extension is a platform that is attachable to a boat, such as a pontoon boat, that provides additional space to transport items or lounge upon. The platform includes a sliding mechanism having an actuator for sliding relative to the boat, pedestal mounts for attaching a plurality of interchangeable accessories thereto, such as grills, fishing chairs and food preparation tables, an outboard motor mount configured to receive a variety of outboard motors including, but not limited to, trolling motors, and a mounting bracket configured to receive a forward ramp for handicapped access to the pontoon boat.
Vessel having a retractable cursor frame assembly
This invention relates to a vessel having an extendable and retractable cursor frame assembly for deploying other vessels into a body of water. The retractable cursor frame assembly on the main vessel may be retracted and secured on a module of the main vessel as the main vessel is in transit. When another vessel is to be deployed into the body of water from the main vessel, the cursor frame assembly is then extended into the body of water to facilitate the launch of the other vessel.
EXTENDABLE LADDER FOR WATERCRAFT
A watercraft including a frame and a folding ladder coupled to the frame. The folding ladder is configured for moving in between a folded position and an unfolded position. The ladder includes a stabilizing portion connected to the frame and defining a stabilizing plane and a first stair portion pivotably connected to the stabilizing portion. The first stair portion pivots relative to the stabilizing portion in a first direction of rotation. The ladder further includes a second stair portion pivotably connected to the first stair portion. The second stair portion pivots relative to the first stair portion in a second direction of rotation which is opposite to the first direction of rotation of the first stair portion such that the ladder selectively folds between the folded position and the unfolded position.
