A semi-submersible aquatic sports board having a primary load supporting region which is substantially more buoyant and has a greater vertical dimension than other regions of the board. The board may comprise a curved hull, a keel projecting downwardly from the hull and a deck positioned on an upper surface of the hull for supporting a rider in the primary load supporting region. In one embodiment the board may be propelled by a rider supported on the deck in a prone position by using motions similar to natural swimming strokes. The rider can initiate pivoting motion of the board about an axis aligned with the primary load supporting region to aid in self- propulsion. The invention relates to a surfboard with an inflatable main part (1) having a front (2) and securing means which are arranged on the front (2) and which are provided for a drive component (20), said drive component (20) comprising an electric drive. The body component 1 has a longitudinal direction L which extends from the tail 2 of the body component 1 to the nose 3 of the body component 1.

A foldable recreational board that can be formed into a ridable board for riding and then folded when finished for easy transportation or storage. The foldable recreational board has foam sections covered by a flexible skin. The flexible skin includes a closing and opening mechanism. When the closing and opening mechanism is closed the skin is held very tight around the foam sections so that the foam sections are squeezed together tightly to form a ridable board. When the closing and opening mechanism is opened, pressure is released from the foam sections and the recreational board can be folded. In a preferred embodiment there are three foam sections and the opening and closing mechanism is two zippers attached to a inch thick flexible neoprene skin.

An example inflatable paddle board includes an inflatable stand-up board chamber. The example inflatable paddle board also includes a curve-shaped front hull chamber at least partially overhanging at least a front portion of the inflatable stand-up board chamber. The example inflatable paddle board also includes a tent covering between the inflatable stand-up board chamber and the curve-shaped front hull chamber.

An example inflatable paddle board includes a first inflatable chamber forming a stand-up board, and a second inflatable chamber connected to the first inflatable chamber to form a curve-shaped front hull. In an example, the second inflatable chamber at least partially overhangs the first inflatable chamber. In another example, the first inflatable chamber at least partially overhangs the second inflatable chamber. A tent may cover between the first inflatable chamber and the second inflatable chamber.
