PONTOON SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Embodiments include a retrofit pontoon system including a pontoon, the pontoon having a pontoon body defining a first cavity, a retrofit assembly, the retrofit assembly including a first lateral tube, wherein the first lateral tube is sized to pass through a first aperture formed in the pontoon body and a selectively fillable container, where the first lateral tube is operably coupled with the selectively fillable container, a main tube, where the main tube is fluidly coupled with the first lateral tube, and a pump, the pump being coupled with the main tube such that operation of the pump selectively fills and drains water from the selectively fillable container, where filling the selectively fillable container lowers the profile of the pontoon in the water and emptying the selectively fillable container raises the profile of the pontoon in the water.
Buoyant element
A buoyant element includes an elongate buoyant body that defines: (i) a major side; (ii) a minor side that is parallel to the major side; (iii) axial ends connecting the major and minor sides at an angle of substantially 45° from the orthogonal spanning the major and minor sides; and (iv) means for connecting adjacent buoyant elements together. The length of the major side is twice the length of the minor side.

A FLOATING UNIT AND A FLOATING STRUCTURE ASSEMBLED FROM SUCH FLOATING UNITS
A floating unit capable of attaching to another floating unit by locks for assembling a floating structure according to this invention comprises a floating body being in the form of a hollow polygonal shape as viewed from a plan view. The floating body comprises an upper surface, a lower surface, and a plurality of lateral surfaces connected to said upper and lower surfaces. Said upper surface and said lower surfaces of the floating body comprise at least one upper engaging surface and at least one lower engaging surface respectively on each associated side of said polygonal floating body, wherein the upper and lower engaging surfaces are respectively adapted in order to be fitted with a locking surface of said lock, therefore, said floating body can be attached to a floating body of another floating unit.

Combination Float and Bracket Assembly
A combination float and bracket assembly for a floating structure that includes a float body made of foam with a plurality of transversely aligned L-shaped brackets that extend upward from the float body's top surface. Each bracket includes a horizontal flange and a vertical flange and the foam body is made of closed-cell foam. During manufacturing, a plurality of bracket cutouts is formed in the top surface of the float body. A brackets is then inserted into each bracket cutout. The bracket's vertical flanges extends upward above the top surface. Connectors are used to attach the vertical flanges to a frame member. In one embodiment, a transversely aligned frame member void area is formed in the float body adjacent to the vertical flange. The void area receives the frame member that extends over the top surface of the float body and attaches to the vertical flange. Also disclosed is a floating structure that includes a frame attached to a plurality of float and bracket assemblies.
APPARATUS FOR SHELLFISH AQUACULTURE
A pneumatically controlled shellfish aquaculture apparatus is provided. A frame has containers for holding shellfish secured to the top side of the frame and tanks secured to the bottom side of the frame. Each tank has an air supply line connected to the tank and an opening on the bottom side of the tank. Each air supply line is connected to a manifold for controlling airflow to the tanks. Air is used to displace water in the tanks by pushing the water out of the openings in the bottom of the tanks in order to float the frame. To submerge the frame, the tanks are depressurized to allow water to displace the air in the tanks. When floating, the tanks lift the frame and the containers out of the water to allow air desiccation in order to prevent bio-fouling of the equipment and shellfish.
Modular multipurpose offshore operation platform, integrated work platform, and transportation method
A modular multipurpose offshore operation platform comprises a floating structure having a lower portion submerged below the surface of the sea, and a platform structure provided at an upper surface of the floating structure. An integrated work platform comprises at least two modular multipurpose offshore operation platforms. Framework structures of two adjacent operation platforms are detachably and fixedly connected, and floor boards of the operation platforms collectively form a deck. A transportation method transports goods to the platform by means of a hoist, and a hoist bracket with a rotating roller. The platform can achieve standardized production, and is flexible and has multiple functions.
Transforming floating dock system
The invention presented is a transformable floating dock system comprising a stationary floating dock section with a pair of movable floating dock sections operatively attached to each end of the stationary dock. The transformable floating dock system can be moved into different configurations by rotating the movable sections around each other and around each end of the stationary dock to form different configurations of the dock system. The configurations can be transformed without entering the water or moving the stationary dock system.
Expansion deck system for vessels
An expansion deck system for vessels includes a frame assembly for positioning between a stationary floor of a vessel and a plurality of pontoons of the vessel. The frame assembly including a first side with a first elongated opening, and a second side with a second elongated opening. One or more sliding deck members are telescopically connected to the frame assembly by one or more sliding rails and transition between a retracted position and an extended position. In the retracted position the one or more sliding deck members are positioned between the floor and pontoons of the vessel, and in the extended position the one or more sliding deck members are positioned alongside the frame assembly.
