Large Floating Structure, and Basic Module of Very Large Floating Structure

A highly safe large floating structure, and a basic module of a very large floating structure, includes multiple lower floating bodies, an upper structure, and intermediate connection structures. The multiple lower floating bodies include multiple distributed strip-shaped floating bodies. The floating bodies are spaced from each other by a certain distance. The sum of the displacement volumes of the floating bodies is greater than the displacement volume when the floating structure as a whole is fully loaded. The intermediate connection structures include at least multiple connection structures in a first direction, the first direction intersecting the horizontal plane. A connection structure in the first direction corresponds to a single strip-shaped floating body connected to three or more spaced structures. The cross-section width of each intermediate connection structure in the horizontal direction is less than the width of the corresponding strip-shaped floating body.

FLOATING-BUILDING

A floating-building including a buoyant-base configured to afloat on a surface of a water-body, an anchoring mechanism configured to anchor the buoyant-base to a bottom of the water-body, a plurality of supporting-components mounted on the buoyant-base, and a plurality of supported-elements. The plurality of supported-elements are movably arranged on the plurality of supporting-components.

Water and Land-Based Modular System for Environmentally Versatile Housing, Shelter and Commercial Use
20200062346 · 2020-02-27 ·

A sustainable floating and land application community based on a mass-produced modular, pre-fabricated kit of parts referred to as floating modular units (FMU) or land module units (LMU). Both modular units are designed to allow for various needs while remaining simple to deliver and assemble by hand in remote destinations prone to volatile shifts in water levels and currents. Both floating and land module units can be erected for use on land and bodies of water.

Modular-type very large floating structures

A floating structure based on the tensegrity principle is described. A planar closed loop structure (1700) has a plurality of beams (300) and a plurality of beam adapters (700). Each of the plurality of beams (300) is formed by coupling multiple n-strut twisted prism units. Each of the multiple n-strut twisted prism units includes n-sided planar polygonal surfaces on opposite sides through which the respective n-strut twisted prism unit is coupled to another n-strut twisted prism unit or a beam adapter. Each of the plurality of beam adapters (700) is an m-strut twisted prism unit having planar polygonal side faces for coupling to an n-sided planar polygonal surface of a beam (300).

Floating base

A floating base comprising a shell constructed from a plurality of blocks reinforced using a plurality of tensile elements. The shell includes an inner space, a length, a width and at least one bulkhead disposed across the width along the length of the shell within the shell to strengthen the shell. In one embodiment, the shell further includes a spine disposed substantially at right angle to the at least one bulkhead to further strengthen the shell.

The present disclosure relates to a houseboat assembly formed from a cabin assembly secured to a hull assembly. In some version of the houseboat assembly, one or both of the cabin assembly and the hull assembly may be formed in accordance with a boat type and/or a floor plan. The boat type and/or floor plan may be selected by a customer. The cabin assembly may be formed at a first location and the hull assembly may be formed at a second location. The cabin assembly and hull assembly may then be transported to a third location. At the third location, the cabin assembly may be secured to the hull assembly to form the cabin assembly at the third location. The third location may be requested or specified by the customer.

A WATERCRAFT
20190322334 · 2019-10-24 ·

A watercraft (1) is provided having a primary deck (3) that is carried on two primary buoyant members, such as pontoons (5, 7), that are substantially parallel to one another. The watercraft (1) includes a pair of deck extensions (13, 15) that are articulately connected to opposing sides of the primary deck (3). Each deck extension (13, 15) may comprise a number of extension segments (21, 23) that in concert form the deck extension. The watercraft (1) is operable between a deployed condition in which the deck extensions (13, 15) are substantially coplanar with the primary deck (3), thereby extending the primary deck (3) and a stowed condition, in which the deck extensions (13, 15) are raised substantially above the primary deck (3) with the extension segments (21, 23) of each deck extension alternately folded. The deck extensions (21, 23) are each connected to an auxiliary buoyant (25) member such that, when the watercraft (1) is in the deployed condition, each deck extension (13, 15) is carried on the buoyant member (25) connected thereto.
