ANCHORING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING AND UNINSTALLING THE ANCHORING SYSTEM
Anchoring system having a floating platform from which first anchoring lines emerge, an anchoring block with at least three non-aligned anchoring points, a central float swinging arms being joined by a joint to the block, the joint located in an intermediate area so that each arm has an internal section and an external section, the internal section located between the intermediate area and an inner free end, and the outer section located between the intermediate area and an outer free end, the inner end closer to the central float than the outer end, so that first anchoring lines leaving the floating platform are joined to the outer free ends. The system has second anchoring lines between the central float and the inner end portions containing the inner free ends of the inner sections of the arms. Also a method of install and uninstalling such a system.
ENERGY HARVESTING VESSELS WITH MODULAR HULLS
Described herein are watercraft comprising a hull comprising a first hull assembly, and a second hull assembly opposite the first hull assembly and parallel to the first hull assembly; and a frame configured to couple the first hull assembly to the second hull assembly. In some embodiments, the first hull assembly comprises a first quarter hull coupled to a second quarter hull, and the second hull assembly comprises a third quarter hull coupled to a fourth quarter hull. In some embodiments, the first and third quarter hulls are substantially reflectively duplicative of the second and fourth quarter hulls. In some embodiments, the first hull assembly is substantially reflectively symmetrical to the second hull assembly. Various embodiments may further include a roof comprising one or more energy harvesting arrays thereon. The roof may be movable, in various embodiments, between a closed configuration and an open configuration.
Floating platform for renewable energy
The present application relates to a floating module, a floating platform assembled by multiple floating platforms, and an offshore system assembled by multiple floating platforms for harvesting green energies in a large body of water. The floating module comprises an external frame having a plurality of side tubes for providing buoyance to the floating module; and an internal frame coupled to the external frame. In addition, the floating module has a mooring mechanism for fixing the floating module in position at sea or ocean. Methods of making the floating module and assembling the floating platform and the offshore system are also disclosed.
