Methods for manufacturing a panel for a ball, in particular for a soccer ball, as well as panels manufactured by these methods and balls with such panels. A method comprises the following steps: providing a carrier material having an outer side and an inner side within a mold having at least one first and at least one second mold part. Three-dimensionally molding an outer layer of the panel on the outer side of the carrier material within the mold. Three-dimensionally molding an inner layer of the panel on the inner side of the carrier material using at least the first mold part.

A tracking system includes a host station and a sensor station. The sensor station includes transmitters transmitting an IR synchronous signal and IR laser signal. The system includes a head-mounted display and a tracked object, which has a plurality of object sensors. The tracked object determines its location and orientation relative to the sensor station based on the IR signals. The tracked object transmits the location and orientation to the host station. The host station determines an actual flight path of the tracked object during an object tracking event; generates a predicted flight path of the tracked object; and renders an image of a virtual object on a display of the head-mounted display. The image includes a virtual object corresponding to the tracked object, wherein the image is rendered in a VR environment such that the virtual object moves along the actual flight path and the predicted flight path.

A practice target that includes: a front face; a rear face; a side face with a plurality of pockets, including first and second sets of pockets into which are disposed first and second sets of magnets. The first and second sets of magnets are identical in shape but are oriented opposite each other so that when the practice targets are stacked they have mutual attraction instead of being repelled by like magnets. The magnets include notches/cutouts/protrusions/etc. that match with similar structures in the pockets to hold them in place in the pockets. There are off-center pin holes through the magnets that make sure that they are oriented correctly during injection molding. There are netting grooves between the plurality of pockets and a tether aperture with a tether for attaching to a net.

A coaching tool for footwork development including a plurality of shims arranged parallel to one another. The coaching tool includes a housing surrounding the shims. The housing has a top surface, a bottom surface opposite the top surface, a front surface, and a back surface opposite the front surface. A method can include displaying a first video to a trainee that explains setup for a delivery device, setting up the delivery device based on the first video, projecting an object along a pre-determined trajectory toward a target zone proximate the trainee, wherein the object has a diameter that is less than a diameter of a regulation table tennis ball, and scoring an ability of the trainee to interact with the object at the target zone.

A training device for use with a goal having a pair of posts and a crossbar, includes a pair of side panels, each side panel being disposed adjacent each of the pair of posts, each side panel including a pair of first arms disposed parallel with the pair of posts, upper and lower transverse members extending between the pair of first arms, a first netting covering the area defined by the pair of first arms, and the upper and lower transverse members, and at least one hinge coupling one of the first arms to an adjacent post.

A soccer training device can include: a body having a front surface facing a first direction; and an illuminating contact sensor associated with the body so that a light emitter is visible and capable of emitting light in substantially the same first direction that the front surface faces and so that a force contact above a predetermined threshold with the body is sensed by a sensing module. The adjustable target system includes a frame and a bracket configured and arranged for adjustably attaching the frame to one of the first post, second post, and crossbar. An electronic down and distance marker system that may comprise a first marker, a second marker connected to a first marker by a physical member having a distance of about ten yards, and a down marker.
