Human thermal warming suits for wet submersibles
Thermal warming suits for a human occupant of a wet submersible vehicle are described. The thermal warming suits provide a dedicated envelope configured to encase at least a portion of the human occupant in a deformable suit that can be assembled around or donned, as well as be removed, by the occupant or others before or after entry and seating in or on the wet submersible vehicle, while underwater or surfaced. The suits provide a deformable, weight and space (i.e. volume) conscious, collapsible loose fitting perimeter around the occupant. The suits can be used to create a pneumatic barrier around at least a portion of the occupant by using a gas such as air provided from a gas reservoir to force water from the interior of the suit.
Wetsuit
A wetsuit is provided, the wetsuit comprising: a sleeve, formed from at least a first material and a second material, the sleeve having an upper arm portion and a forearm portion, wherein the first material defines a boundary that is arranged to extend from the forearm portion, around a bicep region in the upper arm portion and back to the forearm portion, and the second material is arranged to be positioned within the boundary in the bicep region and forearm portion, and wherein the first material has a first elastic modulus and the second material has a second elastic modulus, the first elastic modulus being greater than the second elastic modulus.

BREATHABLE WATERPROOF STRETCHABLE MULTI-LAYER FOAM CONSTRUCT
A breathable waterproof stretchable multi-layer foam construct includes a stretchable closed-cell foam layer having a first face and a second face. A plurality of vents are dispersed across the foam layer, with each vent extending through the foam layer from a first end at the first face to a second end at the second face. A first breathable waterproof stretchable fabric laminate is bonded by adhesive to the foam layer and covering the first end of each vent at the first face. A second breathable waterproof stretchable fabric laminate is bonded by adhesive to the foam layer and covering the second end of each vent at the second face. The breathable waterproof stretchable multi-layer foam construct can be used to fabricate such articles as floatation-assist devices, sports apparel and water immersion suits.
Shark-proof apparel comprising an electromagnetic-based shark repellent system
A garment to repel underwater aquatic creatures. A first component for generating a control signal and a second component for receiving the control signal and transmitting an electromagnetic signal responsive thereto, an electromagnetic field created by the electromagnetic signal radiating from the second component into an aquatic area surrounding the garment. A water sensor disposed on the garment for activating the first and second components to transmit the electromagnet signal when the water sensor senses presence of water.
