REAR HANDLEBAR ASSEMBLY FOR A STATIONARY BIKE
A rear handlebar assembly in combination with a seat and a supporting member of a stationary bike, includes a seat of a stationary bike for supporting a rider thereon. A supporting member supports the seat of the stationary bike. A joining member includes a vertical bore and a horizontal bore, the vertical bore receiving therein the supporting member, the horizontal bore receiving therein a shaft coupled to flanges of the seat. A clasp holds the joining member against the supporting member. A crossbar forms a rear handlebar adapted to support the hands of a rider in an upright riding position. A rearwardly extending member connects the joining member to the crossbar. A pair of hand grips can be positioned on the crossbar.
Rebound and balance training device
A rebound and balance training device includes a frame, a footboard, and a plurality of resilient spring elements extending between and attached to the frame and the footboard to support the footboard above a supporting surface. A user standing on the footboard manually effects repeated vertical bouncing movement between upper and lower positions. The distance traveled by the footboard, the effort required to effect movement, and the stability thereof may be modified by selectively modifying the number, the length, the position, or the elasticity of the resilient elements. In one embodiment, a pair of footboards is employed to simulate skiing movements.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING EXERCISE TESTING AND TRAINING
Disclosed are various approaches for determining the maximum oxygen consumption of a person, also known as maximum aerobic capacity or VO.sub.2 Max. A person is positioned on a treadmill. Attached to the person is a harness configured to apply a horizontal force to the person. A work rate for the person can be calculated based at least in part on the magnitude of the horizontal force applied by the harness and the velocity of the belt. The maximum oxygen consumption for the person can then be calculated based at least in part on the previously calculated work rate.
BALANCE TRAINING SYSTEM, METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME, AND CONTROL PROGRAM
A balance training system includes: a load detection part including a mounting surface for supporting soles of feet of a trainee in a standing state, the load detection part detecting a load received from the trainee riding on the mounting surface; a mobile body to which the load detection part is attached; a control unit that calculates a position of a center of gravity of the trainee based on the load detected by the load detection part and controls a movement of the mobile body based on a change of the position of his/her center of gravity; and a vibrator provided so as to be able to apply a vibration to the trainee. The control unit vibrates the vibrator so as to prompt the trainee to move the position of his/her center of gravity from a current position of the center of gravity to an expected position thereof.
SHOULDER STABILIZING EXERCISE BENCH COVER
A shoulder stabilizing bench cover for use within exercise bench during weight training exercise. The cover has a top surface having a high degree of static friction with clothing and/or a person's body. The top surface is placed on top of an exercise bench and held in place by straps that wrap around the bench and removably affixed to each other using a belt or other mechanism. The cover may include one or more elastic components to facilitate fixed engagement with an exercise bench. In use, an exerciser places the cover in the region of the exercise bench where he or she intends to position his or her shoulder blades. An exerciser then lies down over the cover and pulls his or her shoulder blades together. The static friction imparted by the bench cover prevents an exerciser shoulder blades from moving laterally. As a result, an exerciser maintains the proper posture, having his or her shoulders pulled back and substantially in mobile during a bench press or other exercise performed on the exercise bench.
GYMNASTIC MACHINE WITH MOVABLE STEPS AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention concerns a gymnastic machine of the type having movable steps, comprising a supporting frame, for the resting of said gymnastic machine on the floor, a movable stair comprising a plurality of elongated elements, each elongated element being hinged in series to a preceding elongated element and to a following elongated element, so as to form a closed series, two consecutive elongated elements forming a step of said movable stair acting respectively as tread and riser, said gymnastic machine being characterized in that at least one elongated element comprises at least one first and one second part articulated to each other.
The present invention also concerns an operating method of said gymnastic machine.
PORTABLE GOLF SWING EXERCISER AND GOLF SWING MOTION INFORMATION PROVIDING DEVICE HAVING THE SAME
A portable golf swing exerciser includes: a main body of a shaft shape; a head shaft including a head, and one or more connection shafts, of which one end is detachably coupled to the head, and the other end is detachably coupled to a front end of the main body; and an antenna stick guide extended from or retracted into a rear end of the main body in a form of an antenna having multiple sections.
EXERCISE APPARATUS
An exercise apparatus comprises a platform having a front roller, a rear roller and an endless belt mounted around the front roller and the rear roller for allowing a user to perform a first exercise type of a relatively lower resistance or a second exercise type of a relatively higher resistance. A front frame is mounted at a front side of the platform and has at least one holding portion adapted to be grasped by the user. One or more control interfaces controls the first exercise type and the second exercise type.
ATHLETIC TRAINING PLATFORM EXERCISE DEVICE
A multi-purpose athletic training platform exercise device is provided. A user may stand atop a platform and exercise while connected to a downward pulling source of resistance. This machine allows the user to walk forwards, backwards and side-to-side freely while still having attachment to the resistance source via a connecting means. This will activated all the muscles in the lower body while tractioning the lower back and helping to reduce pelvic tilt. The resistance maybe varied during the user effort. The user is able to step off the machine to climb up or down a step, or walk up and down a ramp that may be provided.
Workstation apparatus and method with converging treadmills
A shared workstation apparatus with converging treadmills including treadmills with centerlines that are transversely oriented towards each other at an angle, which can for example be an acute angle. The shared workstation includes a frame, a first treadmill, a second treadmill, and at least one shared work surface located above the treadmills. The orientation of the treadmills and the shared work surface allows users to share work with each other across the shared work space.
