A jib furler halyard top fitting has a body for coupling to a top end of an extruded member that longitudinally receives a stay and a main portion of a halyard of a marine vessel such that the extruded member is rotatable about the stay. The body of the fitting has a passage to receive the stay. A first sheave supported on the body has a perimeter edge aligned with the main portion of the halyard extending through the extruded member. A second sheave supported on the body has a perimeter edge aligned with an end section of the halyard coupled to the top of the jib. A third sheave supported on the body has a perimeter edge including portions aligned with the first and second sheaves respectively such that the halyard remains tangential with adjacent sheaves along a length of the halyard received through the fitting.

In the art of sailing vessels, various styled tracks retain an edge of a sail. A retained sail edge is prone to fouling by environmental conditions and becomes exceptionally difficult to remove. A disclosed Foiling Rabbit 100 or track conditioner, cleans, lubricates and otherwise services the sail void area of a track or other sail retention area. A cleaning wick 400 may have main body 430 attached to a thickened or rolled interior edge and outer surface 430. An inner edge of the wick may be retained within a wick retaining cartridge 7. A lubricant cartridge 1 may be attached to the wick retaining cartridge. The lubricant cartridge may define one or more reservoir bodies 2a which may contain a lubricant and cleaning fluid. By use of various direct and indirect channels, and controlled capillary action, lubricant flows from the lubricant cartridge to a workpiece removes debris and lubricates.

A sail furler for a sail boat and method for furling a sail for reefing or storage and for unfurling a sail for use. Furling and unfurling of the sail may be accomplished from the cockpit of the sailboat. A mandrel is mounted to the mast extending generally parallel to the boom and attached to the aft end of boom by an aft plate. The mandrel is mounted in bearings and provided with a removable crank for rotation. The mandrel is connected to the mast by a universal joint and bearing structure over which is provided an outer cylinder. A cylinder and resilient sleeve may be provided on the mandrel. A reef brake extends from the mandrel into contact with the boom to prevent rotation for reefing the sail. A slide guard may be mounted at the mast end of the mandrel.

Alpha-enolase specific antibodies and method of use in immune diseases

A method for treating an inflammatory disease or an immune disorder includes administering to a subject in need of such treatment an antagonist against ENO1. The antagonist binds ENO1 and inhibits ENO1 plasminogen receptor activity. The antagonist may be an anti-human ENO1 antibody, or an scFv, Fab, or F(ab).sub.2 fragment thereof, that specifically binds to human ENO1 (GenBank: AAH50642.1) for the treatment of an inflammatory disease or an immune disorder, which may be multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, systemic Lupus erythematosus, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, allergy, psoriasis, type 1 diabetes mellitus, artherosclerosis or osteoporosis.

A sail assembly using slugs and flakers is presented. The sail slug has a plurality of rollers positioned along an inner edge that are received within a groove of a mast. The outer edge of the sail slug has a swivel platform that attaches to straps positioned on a sail. The flaker has a pair of leaves having a first end, a longitudinal section, and a second end with a bracket. The brackets of the leaves have openings that align to receive a torsion spring and an axle to hingedly connect the pair of leaves.
