System and method for improving a basketball player's shooting through a shots made in a row challenge

Systems for assisting a user with creating a custom basketball practice arrangement are provided. A user interface has selectable input areas arranged in association with a visual depiction of a three-point line to visually correspond with pass receipt locations at the basketball playing surface for an ejector to launch basketballs towards. User selection is made at the selectable input areas to define a subset of pass receipt locations forming the custom basketball practice arrangement. A control system receives data indicating the received user selection and commands the ejector to launch at least one basketball towards each of the plurality of pass receipt locations in said subset.

The sports training device may be collapsible so that it is easy to transport and store when it is not in use. The sports training device may be formed as a cylindrical structure having a top portion formed of a taut material with a steel wire frame and a bottom portion attached to a weighted base. The sports training device also may include straps that may secure the sports training device when it is in a collapsed state. The sports training device may further include one or more handles to facilitate transport of the sports training device.

Sports training machine

A basketball training apparatus includes a shot completion sensor, a condition sensor, and a computer. The shot completion sensor determines whether a shot goes through a basketball hoop. The condition sensor senses a physical condition of a basketball shooter. The computer is in communication with the shot completion sensor and the condition sensor, and has a processor for calculating shot completion percentage as a function of the physical condition.

The present invention proposes a court, which is a half- or full-court in which ball sports, such as soccer (penalty kicks), foot volleyball, volleyball, and basketball (3×3 basketball), can be played. The court allows balls to be automatically and rapidly supplied in the case where it takes time to resume a game, such as a case where a game is replayed or a case where a ball is out according to the characteristics of each type of sport, or in the case where serve-reception practice is required, and also allows balls to be naturally collected and lifted because the court is inclined and allows the balls to be automatically classified according to the types of balls and to be supplied to the court.

A basketball illumination system includes a light source mounted beneath a basketball rim to prevent glare and improve visibility of the rim in low lit conditions. Some embodiments include an L.E.D. strip arranged in a hoop directly below the rim. A bungee cord may couple the L.E.D. strip to the rim under tension to prevent the L.E.D. strip from straying into the path of balls travelling through the rim. Some embodiments include a rebound sensor and/or a shot senor. Each sensor may change the illumination of the L.E.D. strip in a different way upon detection.

Basketball Dribbling Practice Assembly

A basketball dribbling practice assembly includes a frame that is positionable on a practice surface for dribbling a basketball. The frame defines a first opening and a second opening. The frame has a height of at least 18.0 inches thereby requiring a user to squat downwardly to inhibit the basket ball from striking a top of the frame when the basketball is dribbled to train proper physical posture for dribbling. Additionally, the frame has a width of at least 16.0 inches thereby facilitating the user to position the user's feet at preferred spacing to train proper foot spacing for dribbling. A panel is coupled to the frame to define the top of the frame. The panel deflects the basketball when the basketball strikes the panel to train proper placement of the basketball during dribbling.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR OBJECT TRAJECTORY RECONSTRUCTION
20210299539 · 2021-09-30 ·

Methods and systems for object trajectory reconstruction are disclosed. The methods and systems perform steps of first, receiving a first trajectory in a first image space and a user's location. Next, generating at least one trajectory line based on the user's location and the first trajectory, where the trajectory line can include at least one projection point representing a projection of the object's position. And finally, for the trajectory line, determining an associated second trajectory by determining, for the projection point in the trajectory line, a distance between the object and a plane. Some embodiments of the present invention enable a resource-limited mobile device, such as a smartphone, to efficiently perform this method. Also disclosed are benefits of the new methods, and alternative embodiments of implementation.

User configurable trailer

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, coordinate dynamic adjustments of a trailer based in part on a user profile associated with a user physically present at the trailer and an activity profile associated with an activity selected to be performed at the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a tilt of a lower surface of the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a dimension(s) of the trailer based in part on a detected object(s). Various dynamic adjustments may occur concurrently, individually and/or sequentially. The trailer may be a moveable trailer for temporary attachment with a vehicle.
