Compression Device
A wearable massage and/or compression device for applying controllable scrolling or intermittent sequential forces, such as compression forces, to the body and limbs of a user comprises an elongated fabric body sized to encircle a limb of a user, one or more shape-memory wires carried by the fabric body and configured to apply a compression pressure to the limb through the fabric body upon changing shape in response to a stimulus, and a micro-processor based controller for selectively actuating the one or more shape-changing elements to reduce the effective diameter of the device encircling the limb, to thereby apply pressure to the limb.
Sports training machine
A basketball training apparatus includes a shot completion sensor, a condition sensor, and a computer. The shot completion sensor determines whether a shot goes through a basketball hoop. The condition sensor senses a physical condition of a basketball shooter. The computer is in communication with the shot completion sensor and the condition sensor, and has a processor for calculating shot completion percentage as a function of the physical condition.
Modular exercise apparatus
An exercise apparatus with base horizontal members forming a base polygon and ceiling horizontal members forming a ceiling polygon and a plurality of vertical members mounted at their lower ends to the base polygon and mounting the ceiling polygon spaced from the base polygon. A human interface permits athletes to exercise, and wheels mounted to the base polygon permit transport of the apparatus and attached equipment to a field or court. The base polygon includes two parallel skids and the human interface may be a pad permitting an athlete to push the apparatus horizontally when none or two of the wheels contact the ground. When no wheels contact the ground, the apparatus may be used in the manner of a weight rack, because the apparatus will not move along the ground without substantial force being applied.
Basketball Training Device
A basketball training device is configured to be mounted on a regulation basketball hoop and provide shot guides for aiming shots in practice.
PURE SHOOTER
An illustrated front view of an exemplary shooting guide device for training a player proper finger and guide hand positioning while shooting a basketball. The shooting guide device is useful for encouraging and training a player to properly position the player's guide hand and fingers when shooting a basketball. The shooting guide device provides a training device to increase control and improve accuracy, which results in more baskets and fewer errant shots. The shooting guide device is useful to improve shooting accuracy and training players to shoot properly.
Basketball training aid
A basketball training aid has a harness removably secured to a body of a player. A bumper is retained at a predetermined position in proximity to the body of the player and represents an obstacle to the player, either to the player's field of view or the movement of the player. In this manner, the bumper provides the player with simulated practice of a basketball skill. The bumper is supported by an elongate attachment, which has a first end connected to the bumper and a second end connected to the harness and configured to support the bumper at the predetermined position in proximity to the body of the player.
Basketball return backstop net assembly
A freestanding basketball backstop assembly returns basketballs shot at a basketball hoop to a player positioned at a location spaced apart from the basketball hoop. A net support has a base and side legs, with vertical rods removably insertable into sockets of the side legs and threaded through sleeves extending from the side edges of the net peripheral border. The base is placed in front of the post supporting the basketball backboard. The net is arranged behind the post supporting the backboard. A slit opening in the bottom periphery of the net receives a portion of the post supporting the backboard. Top corners of the net are connected to the tops of the vertical rods. Bottom corners of the net are attached to front edges of the side legs. The vertical rods keep the net in tension behind the backboard.
SMART DEVICE
A smart vehicle flock navigation system includes a plurality of smart vehicles configured to follow a leader smart vehicle, wherein the leader smart vehicle is configured to follow a target vehicle or a target driving plan; each smart vehicle being equipped with: obstacle detection and avoidance capabilities; vehicle-to-vehicle communication means for transmitting information about obstacles and evasive actions to following smart vehicles; a flock control module for adjusting the driving path of the smart vehicle flock based on transmitted obstacle information; a flocking behavior algorithm based on three independent rules: Separation, Alignment, and Cohesion, controlling the motion of each smart vehicle within the flock; and a distributed flocking operation mechanism utilizing wireless network communication for coordinating the behavior of the smart vehicle flock.
SMART DEVICE
An Internet of Thing (IoT) device includes a body with a processor, a camera and a wireless transceiver coupled to the processor.
