A support system for outboard marine motors at the transom of a boat includes a support device having a first part that is integral with the transom and a second part that is integral with the outboard motor. The second part is translatable with respect to the first part, so that the second part moves according to an orientation in the distancing or approaching direction of the water line of the boat. A control unit is configured to set the position of the second part with respect to the first part and to generate control signals, so as to move the second part in the direction of immersion of the propeller of the outboard motor.

Enhanced Steering Control System For Personal Watercrafts

Systems, methods, and devices for enhancing steering control of a personal watercraft. An electrically actuated device is coupled to the steering system of the personal watercraft and applies torque to the steering system. At least one sensor is positioned adjacent the steering system and generates operational data of the personal watercraft. At least one controller is coupled to the electrically actuated device and the at least one sensor, and is configured to determine a first torque to apply to the steering system based on the operational data responsive to a second torque being applied to the steering system. The at least one controller is further configured to operate the electrically actuated device to apply the first torque to the steering system for providing enhanced steering control of the personal watercraft, with the first torque being applied only by the electrically actuated device.

MARINE VESSEL MANEUVERING SYSTEM AND MARINE VESSEL

An operation device in a ship propulsion system including a ship propulsion machine, ship-mounted equipment, and a power supply, the operation device including a single push button switch and an operation processor performing processing. The operation processor detects a pressing mode of the push button switch when the push button switch is pressed while the ship-mounted equipment and the power supply are disconnected and the power source is stopped, performs processing of connecting the ship-mounted equipment and the power supply and starting the power source when the detected pressing mode is a first mode, and performs processing of connecting the ship-mounted equipment and the power supply while maintaining the power source in a stopped state when the detected pressing mode is a second mode.

OUTBOARD MOTOR

An outboard motor includes a trolling mode. The outboard motor includes an outboard motor body including a propeller and a drive source, a tiller handle body extending forward from the outboard motor body, a grip handle extending from a front end surface of the tiller handle body and configured to steer the outboard motor body via the tiller handle body, and a trolling switch attached to the tiller handle body and configured to adjust a trolling speed. An operation portion of the trolling switch is attached to a lower front end surface of the tiller handle body, the lower front end surface being located below the grip handle.

BIDIRECTIONAL WIRELESS CONTROLS FOR MARINE DEVICES
20220073180 · 2022-03-10 · ·

A control system for a trolling motor operated based upon commands generated by a wireless remote control device and a wired foot pedal is provided. The controller is interposed between the trolling motor and the wired foot pedal to add wireless controllability to the trolling motor via the wireless remote control. The controller communicates with the remote control through a bidirectional wireless communication link to receive commands and to provide status information on the operation of the motor. The remote control includes user inputs for generating commands that are sent wirelessly to the controller to control operation of the marine device. The remote control also includes a display for displaying real time status information that is received wirelessly from the controller. The controller generates control signals upon receipt of wireless communication from the remote control that simulate signals that are normally generated by the wired foot pedal.

MOTORIZED WATERCRAFT

A motorized watercraft includes a board and a cassette coupleable to the board. The board may be a surf board or a wakesurf board with a top surface and a bottom surface. The top surface includes a mounting space for receiving the cassette with an outer surface of the cassette in alignment with the top surface of the board and the bottom surface of the board includes an intake. The cassette includes a power source, an electric motor, an impeller, and a controller. The controller executes instructions to activate the electric motor and rotate the impeller to provide a short burst of forward thrust during operation of the watercraft in response to an input from a user. The thrust assists a user with maintaining their position on a wake during surfing or wakesurfing.

SURFBOARD WITH LOW-PROFILE PROPULSION SYSTEM

Conventional surfboards enable a rider to catch a wave and ride towards the shoreline while utilizing the power of the ocean to enjoy the ocean waves uniquely. A low-profile motorized surfboard has been developed to assist riders who may have a disability or struggle to get into the position necessary to begin riding the waves. The surfboard may comprise at least one propeller and electromechanical motor, which may provide propulsion for the rider. The surfboard may have an internal power system and supporting circuitry for safe and reliable propulsion. The motorized surfboard may have a low-profile system that is collapsible and allows for the rider to enjoy the surf as if the surfboard were a conventional system. The system may also function to return the rider to the shoreline.
