Plunger wave making generator system
A wave making apparatus for creating a surfing wave in a body of water. The waves are generated using a round bottom and front mechanical plunger. The plurality of round front plungers are assembled side by side in a vertical manner on a 90 degree back wall. The individual round front plungers actuate up and down, all at the same time, at different times, in sequence and can be placed in different shaped configurations to produce a swell into a body of water which then break of artificial surfing reefs to create a wave for surfing.
Wave Generation Assembly
A wave generation assembly for producing a wave in a pool for surfing includes a below ground pool that is filled with water. A boat hull is integrated into the below ground pool and the boat hull is partially submerged in the water contained in the below ground pool. An outlet jet is coupled to the boat hull such that the outlet jet is submerged in the water. A propulsion unit is integrated into the boat hull and the propulsion unit is in fluid communication with the outlet jet. The propulsion unit urges the water outwardly through the outlet jet at a velocity sufficient to generate a wave in the water which extends away from the boat hull. In this way the outlet jet facilitates the user to surf on the wave generated by the outlet jet.
WAVE GENERATOR POOL WITH VARYING REEF ANGLES AND RETURN WATER CHANNEL
A wave generator pool that may be used for surfing, which has reefs configured to provide a variety of novel wave shapes. Reefs may have multiple sections with varying angles, causing the shape or direction of the wave to change as a surfer rides the wave. One or more embodiments of the pool may have two basins that share a common wave generator, resulting in substantial energy savings. An illustrative dual basin pool may have an intermediate basin on one side and a beginner basin on the other. The intermediate basin may have an easy takeoff reef section with a reef angle between 65 and 85 degrees. The beginner basin may have several isolated takeoff reef sections where a corresponding number of surfers can await a wave. Reefs may be constructed and reconfigured using a modular reef structure that avoids the months of downtime associated with rebuilding fixed reefs.
Arrangement, device and method for generating a standing wave in still water or swimming facilities
A floating wave generating device for generating a standing wave in a standing water body or water basin includes at least one water acceleration section, at least one wave generation section arranged downstream of the water acceleration section, and at least one pump. The at least one pump is arranged in such a way that with this pump water from the underwater area of the standing water body or water basin can be conveyed to a starting level which is higher than the water level of the standing water body or water basin, in order to generate a water flow directed toward the wave generation section by utilizing gravity. Furthermore, the apparatus is arranged in relation to the standing water body or water basin such that the standing water body or water basin with its water level is part of the wave generation section.
Sequenced chamber wave generator controller and method
A wave generating apparatus mobile application controller and method are provided in which a mobile controller actuates a plurality of wave generating chambers in sequence using a delay between the actuation of each chamber to produce a rideable wave in a pool. The mobile application controller allows the user to select the exact type of wave to be produced by the wave generator apparatus by selecting the size, shape, and pattern of the wave. The application also allows the user to use a camera to photograph or record herself or someone else, even while riding a wave.
DYNAMIC ARTIFICIAL WAVE FACILITY FOR SURFING PRACTICE
The facility includes an artificial wave generator having a water driving member movable along a predetermined path, including a body delimiting a water flow chamber open by an inlet opening located at the front and facing forward and by an outlet opening located rearward of the inlet opening and facing the wave progression zone, the body including peripheral walls which entirely close the chamber from the inlet opening to the outlet opening except optionally at the side that faces upward.
Collapsible hard case for surfboards and other large objects
A protective case for large objects including a lock housing formed from a first section and a second section, both of the sections including at least one external subsection and at least one internal subsection configured to telescope inside the external subsection; and an extension lock comprising a lock housing and a compression lock, the lock housing including a screw-threaded channel, and the compression comprising at least one screw-threaded shaft with a compressive component on the interior end and a lock handle on the exterior end, the screw-threaded shaft configured to matingly engage with the screw-threaded channel of the lock housing; the compression lock configured to descend in the lock housing and compressingly lock the internal subsection in an extended position upon locking rotation of the compression lock; and the compression lock configure to ascend in the lock housing upon unlocking rotation of the cam latch.
MULTIPURPOSE EXERCISE DEVICE FOR REPLICATING EXERCISE MOTIONS FOR SPORTS AND PHYSICAL THERAPY
A multipurpose exercise device for replicating exercise motions that has a base on a support surface and a user platform. One end of a support post is axially mounted to the base and the other end is pivotally mounted to the user platform. The platform pivots with the post in a horizontal plane parallel to the support surface and pivots in a vertical plane perpendicular to the support surface. Resistance elements, dampening elements and a linkage system are selectively mounted to the support post and the base to control the velocity and angle of pivot of the platform in the horizontal and vertical plane. Ski and snowboard modules may be mounted to the user platform. The user stands on the platform or modules and performs exercise motions to propel the platform in the horizontal plane and the vertical plane to replicate the exercise motions, e.g., skiing and snowboarding.
WAVE GENERATOR SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FREE-FORM BODIES OF WATER
A wave park for an open or large body of water is disclosed. The wave park includes a body of water, and a track positioned in or proximate the body of water. The wave park further includes at least one foil coupled to move along the track, the at least one foil being at least partially submerged in the body of water. The at least one foil has a curvilinear cross-sectional geometry that includes a leading surface that is concave about a vertical axis to provide drag to generate a primary wave laterally in water of the body of water that contacts the leading surface of the foil, and a trailing surface that narrows from a maximum width of the foil adjacent the leading surface to a point at an end of the foil, the trailing surface to decrease the drag of the foil and to minimize oscillatory waves that trail the primary wave from the water moving past the leading surface of the foil.
Pop-up Bench Surfing Trainer
The Pop-up Bench Surfing Trainer will be a durable bench that will last a lifetime. It will aid in developing muscle and ability for popping up on a surfboard after paddling into a wave. The popup surface of the bench will be 97″ by 24″. The angles of the bench will range from 0° to 40° for different levels of skill development. The higher the angle the harder it will be to popup and stay on the bench. Ankle wraps will be suggested while popping up on the bench. Cross training shoes will also be recommended while popping up on the bench.
