Hard Wall Lacrosse Rebounder
The present invention is a sport training equipment apparatus developed for lacrosse players. The purpose is to act as a high density lacrosse ball re-bounder for lacrosse players to practice throwing and catching on. The core components of the invention are: The main body of the apparatus, which is made of a high density composite panel incorporating dense solid core material that forms a curved, hard surface of the wall on an incline. This playing surface of the main body will be manufactured out of fiber reinforced plastic or other high density composites in a mold. The main body will be filled with a dense core material to create a dense, heavy surface, which upon collision of a thrown ball and the wall, will transform the kinetic energy inherent in a thrown ball, into potential energy stored in the ball utilizing the elastic properties of the ball itself rather than relying on the elastic properties of the rebounding apparatus. Two main support legs will be bolted to the main body to position the main body at an appropriate height and angle for the lacrosse player to throw and catch off the playing surface. This invention is used primarily as a training device.
Soccer training equipment and kits
A soccer training device can include: a body having a front surface facing a first direction; and an illuminating contact sensor associated with the body so that a light emitter is visible and capable of emitting light in substantially the same first direction that the front surface faces and so that a force contact above a predetermined threshold with the body is sensed by a sensing module. In some aspects, the illuminating contact sensor is at least one of: coupled with the soccer training member; removable from the soccer training member; or integrated with the soccer training member.
FOLDABLE SPORT GOALS AND THROWBACK DEVICES
Sports equipment include a frame with an outer telescoping member including a row of a plurality of openings along its length and a rotation-limiting slot at a first end. An inner telescoping member includes a push button that engages one of the plurality of openings of the outer telescoping member to secure the inner telescoping member to the outer telescoping member. A stub includes a pin that engages the rotation-limiting slot of the outer telescoping member to limit rotation of the outer telescoping member relative to the inner telescoping member. The outer telescoping member may rotate relative to the stub and the inner telescoping member to change a length of at least one member of the sports equipment frame.
Training device with return
This disclosure presents a training device and return for practice or game play so that when a ball is directed toward the target, the ball can either impact the target face or pass through one of a plurality of holes in the target face. The training device may be adjustable for use with different sized balls and the return may be automated.
Soccer training arena
A soccer training facility or arena of this invention includes an upstanding wall system having an upper end and a lower end. The wall system has at least one and preferably a plurality of horizontally spaced-apart rectangular target openings formed therein at the lower end thereof. A training target is positioned in each of the target openings and which is movable between a normally inner position to an outer position. The training target is moved from its inner position to its outer position upon the training target being struck by a soccer ball. The training targets are sequentially illuminated by a controller for a predetermined length of time. The number of illuminated training targets being struck by a soccer ball within a preselected period of time is recorded.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A GAME PLAYED WITH A RAQUET AND A BALL
An equipment for playing a game using a racquet and ball. The equipment has a substantially horizontal playing surface, having a first and second ends and a plurality of playing walls disposed at the first end of the horizontal playing surface, extending perpendicularly away from the playing surface, wherein a first playing wall among the plurality of playing walls is disposed centrally between a second and a third playing wall among the plurality of playing walls. The second playing wall and the third playing wall are angled relative to the first playing wall during the game. The racquets employed with the game are racquets with embedded sensors, where the equipment has motion capture module configured to collect information on the movement of the racquet.
PORTABLE PICKLEBALL TRAINING APPARATUS
An apparatus for simulating the game of pickleball and for use in practicing pickleball gameplay. The apparatus may include a center panel coupled to a first side panel and a second side panel, and optionally a net coupled to the first side panel and the second side panel. Each of the center panel, the first side panel, and the second side panel may be adjustably mounted to a footer for stabilizing the respective panels. The panels may be formed of a core and cover layers on the core, where the core is provided as a honeycomb material for causing a rebound effect to a pickleball that is similar to a pickleball paddle.
Sports rebounding and goal apparatus
A sports rebounding and goal apparatus for receiving a moving object, such as a ball, or puck having a base frame with elongated base members, an upper frame connected to the base frame and having elongated supports and upper frame members pivotally connected to the base frame. A first lock pivotally joins the supports and is selectively actuatable between a locked configuration to fix relative movement between the elongated supports and an unlocked configuration to allow folding movement of the supports relative to each other and relative to the first lock. Elongated cross members are pivotally connected to the upper frame and slidingly connected to base frame. A second lock pivotally connects at least one of the cross members and is selectively actuatable between a locked configuration to fix relative movement between the cross members and an unlocked position to allow drawing together of the cross members.
TRAINING BALL
A training ball that is operable to produce a different return trajectory versus a projected trajectory when thrown against a vertical wall as an apparatus and method of improving hand-eye coordination. The training ball includes a body that is partially elliptical in shape so as to have circumferential radius that will produce a second trajectory that is different from that of a first trajectory. The first trajectory occurs when the training ball is hurled at a vertical support surface. Furthermore, the second trajectory is the return trajectory. The method of use incorporates steps such as but not limited to tracking the training ball during its travel on its projected directory and its return trajectory.
Hockey rebounder, slide board
A hockey training device is provided. The training device includes a substantially flat sheet with a smooth upper surface. The present invention includes a plurality of elastic band suspended to the upper surface. A first vertical post and a second vertical post may be attached to the flat sheet so that the elastic band is secured about the first and second vertical posts. The elastic band includes a front surface facing towards a center portion of the flat sheet. Therefore, a puck may be passed towards the elastic band and the elastic band rebounds the puck towards the user. The device may be used to train both backhand and forehand shooting and pucks skills. Further, the device may be used to train a sliding skating motion in a skating training mode.
