FABRIC AIR SHAFT VENTILATOR WITH INSTANT OPENING AND FASTENING FOR BOATS
Fabric air shaft ventilator with instant opening and fastening for boats.
The invention relates to a device for improving air circulation on board boats.
It consists of a frustoconical-shaped fabric (8) whose air inlet (1) is maintained in position by two rods (2) and (4) maintained in the form of loops in contact with the deck of the boat and whose air outlet (3) is positioned inside the deck hatch.
The device can be oriented in all directions and does not require anchoring at height, so that it can be used on all deck hatches of sailboats and motorboats.
The rod (1) is folded in a figure of eight so as to occupy less space when it is not in use.
The device according to the invention is particularly intended to improve comfort on board boats by improving air circulation.
Low profile vent assembly for a boat
A vent assembly in accordance with some examples herein may include a vent conduit coupling a dry compartment of a boat to an opening in a hull of the boat for selectively fluidly connecting the dry compartment to an exterior of the hull. The vent assembly may include a fluid-tight ventilation closure which selectively prevents fluid flow through the vent conduit when the fluid-tight ventilation closure is in a closed position. The fluid-tight ventilation closure may be positioned below an exterior surface of the hull. A damper may be configured to selectively modulate air flow through the vent conduit. The damper may be positioned downstream of the fluid-tight ventilation closure from the opening.

Barnacle Suppression Module
A module for preventing barnacle formation in a marine air-conditioning system. The module comprises: i) a source of irradiating light for killing or stunning barnacle larvae; ii) a pipe assembly; and iii) a coating applied to a wall of an interior chamber of the pipe assembly, wherein the coating enhances the maintenance of photons in the irradiating light. The pipe assembly comprises an interior chamber, an input neck configured to be coupled to an input pipe and to direct an incoming water flow into the interior chamber, and an output neck configured to be coupled to an output pipe and to direct an outgoing water flow from the interior chamber. The pipe assembly further includes a third neck configured to receive the source of irradiating light and to direct the irradiating light into the interior chamber of the pipe assembly.

USE OF GASEOUS FUEL IN MARINE VESSELS
A marine vessel includes at least one gas fuel consumer is arranged at a first horizontal level in the vessel, and at least one gas tank for the gas fuel consumer is arranged at a second horizontal level in the vessel, which second horizontal level is different from the first horizontal level. The vessel is provided with a fluid passing shaft for providing a confined vertically extending shaft between a gas consumer at a first horizontal level in the vessel and at least one gas fuel tank arranged at a second horizontal level in the vessel.
BOAT VENTILATION SYSTEM
There is described a ventilation system for a boat. The windshield body comprises an air scoop in a bottom portion of the windshield body, facing a forward direction of the boat for air entry, the air scoop having an entry which is substantially horizontal and the air scoop extending upwardly within the windshield body to form a conduit having an upward component. The conduit end opens toward an inside of the boat, at a location higher than the entry of the air scoop. A hingeable vent can be installed on the opening inside the boat to be open or closed. The vent may also be sued with a direct opening with the outside. In this case, flaps can be installed in the opening. The flaps can be hingeable about their own respective hinge axis, and move together using a solid link. The flaps may be used without the vent.

Backspray mitigation system for yachts
A superstructure-integrated backspray mitigation system for yachts including an aft spoiler secured to the vessels hardtop for directing airflow about the hardtop downwardly into the aft cockpit area to interfere with, mitigate and eliminate the natural reverse backspray created by the low-pressure region behind the yacht. The spoiler protrudes from the hardtop and includes at least one air ducting channel directing airflow at select angles into the cockpit area presenting a protective shield preventing the backspray from entering the cockpit. An optional pivotal panel member selectively enables operation of the spoiler.
