PROPELLER PROVIDED WITH INTERCHANGEABLE BLADES AND A METHOD OF MOUNTING INTERCHANGEABLE BLADES ON A PROPELLER
A propeller provided with interchangeable blades, and to a method of mounting such interchangeable blades on the propeller. The propeller comprises a hub, fastening fittings, rotation guide devices for guiding the fastening fittings in rotation relative to the hub, locking parts, and blades. The fastening fittings are configured to be assembled into the hub from the inside of the hub, and the locking parts lock respective ones of the fastening fittings onto the hub. The blades are fastened to respective ones of the fastening fittings outside the hub and can thus easily be replaced with other blades without removing the propeller.
Electromechanical Blade Pitch Control
An electromechanical pitch control system for modifying a collective blade pitch of a multi-blade propeller includes a pitch control rod mechanically coupled via a distal end to a plurality of blades of a propeller, a bearing assembly operatively connected to a proximal end of the pitch control rod, and an electric actuator operatively connected to the bearing assembly. The bearing assembly allows the electric actuator to remain stationary while the pitch control rod rotates with the propeller. The electric actuator is configured to translate the pitch control rod in a longitudinal direction for adjusting an incidence angle of the blades.

BLADE PIVOT OF ADJUSTABLE ORIENTATION AND OF REDUCED BULK FOR A TURBOMACHINE FAN HUB
A blade pivot of adjustable orientation for a turbomachine fan hub includes: a block having a retaining device configured to retain a fan blade root and a coupling device for the transmission of a torque; a ball type rolling bearing for taking up centrifugal forces having an inner ring; a clamping nut screwed onto an external thread of the block in order to clamp the inner ring of the ball type rolling bearing for taking up centrifugal forces to the block; a rolling bearing for taking up transverse forces; a pitch setting transmission ring positioned inside the inner radial end of the block and equipped with a coupling device cooperating with the coupling device of the block, and a device for locking the pitch setting transmission ring on the block.
Controlling blade pitch by a plurality of electric motors
The present invention relates to a rotor assembly where associated electric motors are configured to rotate the rotor, control the collective pitch of the rotor/assembly, and/or control the cyclic pitch of the rotor/assembly, by varying the relative rotational angle between two or more of the associated electric motors.

Variable pitch bladed disc
A variable pitch bladed disc including a plurality of blades, each being of variable pitch about a blade axis of rotation and having a root, the plurality of blades including at least one first blade and at least one second blade, a plurality of rotor connecting shafts, each shaft having a root and a tip, the root of each blade being mounted on the tip of a corresponding rotor connecting shaft via a pivot so as to allow each blade to be rotated about the blade axis of rotation, the first blade having a first rotation axis inclination such that the rotation axis thereof is inclined in a fixed manner with respect to a radial axis passing through the root of the corresponding shaft, and the second blade has a second rotation axis inclination different from the first rotation axis inclination.

UNIVERSAL PROPELLER, OPERATING METHOD AND FAVOURED USE
A novel universal propeller has a gearwheel arranged on each rotor blade that is directly operatively connected to a reference gearwheel of a timing gear. The timing gear is operatively connected to a hub gear. The hub gear senses and processes an angular velocity ω.sub.n of a rotation of the hub. The reference gearwheel and the gearwheels of the rotor blades of the timing gear are configured that the ratio of an angular velocity ω.sub.r of the reference gearwheel to the angular velocity ω.sub.n of the rotational movement of the hub is as follows: ω.sub.r/ω.sub.n=1±(½)*(S.sub.rot/S.sub.r), where S.sub.rot is a size of the gearwheels and S.sub.r is a size of the reference gearwheel. The present invention is particularly suitable for use in a wind power installation, hydropower installation or an engine of a ship or an aircraft.
